  1. I think the people who do those rankings are likely 25 year old interns .... really ! I usually look at the Jeff Sagarin rankins for most sports ... done by computer ... maybe not perferct but find them a LOT closer. Bills are #24, just ahead of Washington, Cinny, St. Louis. They are just behind Cleveland, Detroit, Oakland and Minnisota (within 3 points either way) The first 14 games are not as important as this Sunday .. would be a great game to win ...and a great way to bust the NE hot air balloon !! GO BILLS !
  2. Fritz is my starter next year ... and I would prefer we not waste a pick on a QB this year. My thoughts: When the season started, I figured a 4 win season at best, with many of the games complete blowouts. I can't imagine anyone looking at the schedule could see us winning more than one division game, maybe one from Miami. Then the other games, like Pittsburgh, Baltimore, GB, Minn, Chicago, ete. Many figured to be 33-3 games. What happened is we got a throwback QB in Fritz. He reminds me at times of Kelly ... wants to hit someone, not afraid, not always pretty, but giving 110%. And look at his receivers, we were not very good to start, Evans and Parrish out ... yet we have found and developed some new players who have been exciting at times. Running game as been OK, at yimes even good. Line has been patchwok but showing signs of hope. Are they better than last year, maybe, but at least they are easier to watch ! We held Pisstburgh and Baltimore to a standstill ... and has Pittsburh beat. So .. I say ... give him a chance .. what we need is a D that can stop the run, some secondary that might ACTUALLY pick off a pass, harass a receiver, make some hits. We NEED a pass rush ... We finally have a HC, a QB we can live with ... lets get some D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Its amazing how people don't let the facts get in the way ! Rian Lindell ranks 26th ALL-TIME in FG percent at 80.132%, in his 8 years in Buafflo he has hit 82.1%, which would rank 10th all-time ... fairlt crappy numbers for sure ... seems like they are LUCKY he decided to stay actually ! His 8 years in Buffalo 330 of 331 extra points ... one miss .. sure looks like he is losing it ! 00-19 yards, 2 of 2 20-29 yards, 81 of 87 30-39 yards, 63 of 70 90% 40-49 yards, 51 of 80 63% 50 plus 17 of 30 56% As a point of reference, Adam Vinatieri numbers, his 10 years in NE 00-19 yards, 8 of 8 20-29 yards, 129 of 134 30-39 yards, 113 of 135 83% 40-49 yards, 88 of 124 70% 50 plus 10 of 21 47% Looks like Rian's numbers are darn good ... can't speak to "pressure kicks" not sure for a kicker there is every a non-pressure kick ... but since you were so off on his abilities, will assume that is off also. Both the kicker and punter are not the problem that some lineman and better D would not fix.
  4. Play to win ... you get paid to play, play ... if you go thru life looking for a handout (like we need to lose to get a #1 pick) .. that says loser all over it.
  5. Fat lady singing ... the Buffalo Fight song !!
  6. Whos the new guy???? Somebody called Dante !
  7. Come on ... hold them to 3 ! Better yet ... stop them !
  8. If we score enough the D can't lose the game ... right???
  9. Trent, is that you??? Instead of complaining about Fritz, complain about the lack of D week in week out. I would rather watch Fritz lead and try vs what we have had the last two years, checkdown and make SAFE 2 yard passes, unless you like that kind of thing ... personally .. he's a start as far as I am concerned .. fact is .. they just took the lead as I was typing this .. Will they win? Well they are the Bills .. so not likely .. but at least its a watchable entertaining game ... ! GO BILLS
  10. He better start ... as soon as they hit the mid way point and are 1-7 ... need see him for 8 games .. see what he can do ... winning is not as critical as seeing if we have a good backup or at least a semi starter so we can draft some who can start at some point.

  12. Do not see much to to say either is better than the other .. both play hard .. but I expect Fred to get yards .. with Lynch .. he SHOULD get the yards, but always seems a few shy, with about 3 guys on his back .. for some reason Fred seems to make more miss .. and his struggles seems to get a few extra yards. I vote Fred ...
