Training camp: Brand new O-line v. Bills soft 4-3
Billistic replied to Billistic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pat was/IS one of my all time favorites. Too bad they low-balled him out of town. The Vikes are effed if both Williamses sit the 1st 4 games. sounds like antoine is unhappy, too... -
Do We Have a Better Team Now than at the End of 2008 ?

By any chance, would you then be a rookie calling a rookie a rookie? -
Is it true that Bailo's got cited for using horsemeat? Isn't Gowanda the place with the nuthouse? I can get sponge candy out here about once every 5 years. I used to hate when I picked a chunk that had the hard sponge..bummer

I'm pretty sure that one violates the terms of service. You might want to be a little more careful. We'd sure hate to lose your insights... -

Try finding actual quotes instead of using your imagination. FIND THE EFFING QUOTES, get it? -

A lot of scouts say all kinds of nonsense... The pundits pegged Levitre as a guard in the NFL because of his extremely short arms. He has to get his short sleeve shirts hemmed. -

...except for the simple fact that Andy played ZERO games at guard during his 39 game career at Oregon State (just like Joma said). Levitre's college days -

Would you mind terribly if people read my actual words instead of you fabricating some lame summary of what I actually said? Thanks -

May I compliment you on your psychoanalytical prowess? I presume you're a pipe fitter. Which orifice did you pull all that stuff about offensive linemen and the draft from? Hint: Maybe arguing the football stuff on its merits?????? -

Well, for a company that has a contract to pay $4 billion to the NFL for the rights to broadcast (broadcast?) replacement player games in 2011, what do you expect? -

If you already pay D-TV for HD, all the games are in HD anyway. Last year, you had to subscribe ($) to "Supercast" to get the games on PC. It's this little streaming video window where you can't see crap. You can barely make out what's going on watching a 50 inch HD TV, so what do you expect to see on a 3 inch streaming window or a smaller blackberry. If you want that stuff, go to the D-TV home page, and hit the link for your account. -

I think you just admitted that Ralph's same old front office has been chasing its tail since 2000. It's the same crew give or take the name on the window of the GM's (or COO's) office except they brought in the sales manager wunderkind, and have had a death. They are always 2 years behind the curve, and busy filling holes they dug for themselves. Enjoy your optimism. It's your right. ... but then, don't YOU get in my face for facing reality. -
Why are you being so picky and cynical? These are the key clichés: - any given Sunday - you can't go by last year's record - no huddle, and/or audibles - Terrell Owens, TO, TO, TO... - breakout year for the Poz

You're basically asking how Walker matches up against: * Richard Seymour and Adalius Thomas * Starks, Merling and Joey Porter * Marques Douglas and Calvin Pace (Pace will be back for the October game) I think Langston is going to have trouble with the Pats and Phins, for sure, but might be OK against the Jets.

Chris Brown's press releases should not be taken as a catechism, IMO. The Bills FO and coaching staff (including the Marv episode) is basically incompetent. Why would anybody believe their spin? Here's some examples: They decide to bring in the Tampa 2 high on the delusion that Larry Tripplett and John McCargo were Warren Sapp and Simeon Rice. They adhere to the delusion to the extent that they pass on Haloti Ngata in favor of their next delusion, namely that Donte Whitner is going to be their Bob Sanders. OK, so the "dream team" gets pushed up and down the field for two years, thereby exposing the stupidity of their blunders. There's no place left to hide, so they sign Marcus Stroud, and, wow, the defense has improved! Now they're brilliant, and the team is on the verge of greatness. Ngata will be blowing up plays for a decade after Stroud runs out of gas. Now they've loaded the roster with all kinds of tweeners. I suppose they think that Maybin is Dwight Freeney? Hooray for Bobby April. Give me a break. When the Bills are any good, we'll all know about it without having to be told by Chris Brown. -
You probably settle for tube steak most times...

Talking about fish fries and Mexican food, one of the best Mexican dishes in AZ is fish tacos: batter fried fish on a flour tortilla garnished with a tartar-type sauce, salsa/pico de gallo, and shredded cabbage.

VOR said: ...and in a couple of years McKelvin's spot will be given to some other #10 draft pick since the Bills will finish 6-10, and so forth, and so on, as with Jones, Winfield, Clements, Greer, ad nauseum. One step forward, 1.5 steps back. Really, is $6 million so outrageous for a guy who can finally play a tight corner? Then everyone wonders why the Bills draft 4 corner backs each year...
