  1. Geeze, bringing out the big artillery pieces over that? I even used an emoticon...
  2. Here's all 361 pages of the current CBA: cba
  3. Sounds like we've found a "non-traditional" couple here...
  4. Translation: "I'm a jerk, and here's what I think..."
  5. I know that the owners got a long term deal with DirectTV that provides $4 billion whether there's a NFLPA lockout in 2011, or not. That gives them a nice lever.
  6. Everyone knows that the owners have already backed out of extending the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the players (NFLPA). As it stands, 2009 will be "normal". There will be no salary cap (or bottom) in 2010 [there are new restrictions on the definition of free agency- more years of service for players to qualify - restrictions on how many FAs the playoff teams can sign away from others, etc]. By 2011, there would be no CBA extant, and the owners might likely lockout the players to break the NFLPA. The owners want the bigger slice of the revenue pie, not the smaller piece they get now. Who knows the details? Who cares to speculate on the outcome(s)? Which teams suffer most in a lockout? Teams paying off rich new stadiums, small market teams? In other words where does it go after it hits the fan? If this has already been picked apart, please excuse me. I'm a newbie here...
  7. What was the complaint when the Bills signed Walker from the Raiders? Wasn't it that he got such big money after giving up 10.5 sacks? How many sacks did the Eagles new zillion $ LT give up as a Bill in 2008 (in only 13 games)?
  8. The Bills will dutifully follow the proper chain of command: Schonert -to-Dick-to-Edwards-to-Moorman
  9. He's hopefully got plenty of other, better things to do. This possibly won't be the last boat I miss.
  10. To quote you, "probably". I watched every instant of every game live and later on DVR, and Edwards was different before/after. Was it the concussion, or the death of his pet turtle? Or did Jauron develop a dislike for Bills scoring TDs?
  11. He thinks I'm the wicked witch... What do you think?
  12. Is it OK with you if I doubt whether you're the best judge of quality?
  13. Aberrations cannot be explained. That's why they're aberrant. Maybe I'm wrong to think that Edwards played better before Adrian rocked his socks, but worse afterward. Maybe his pet turtle died, and that's the real reason his play fell off. Who really knows?
  14. Continue to blather on... Sooner or later, if just by dumb chance, you'll reach an audience that mistakenly thinks your not a blowhard.
  15. Isn't that pretty much self-evident, except for the aberrant Chargers game?
  16. No lack of helpful advice. How do you "generate your material"? What's the quota for posts in two days? Do you believe in the afterlife, and do you recommend that I should think the same way that you do? Seriously, inquiring minds want to know these things from you old wise ones...
  17. Thanks, but, personally, next time, I hope Edwards calls a time out and goes over to talk to Schonert (not Juaron).
  18. Well made points. However, who hasn't seen Peyton Manning call a judicious time out when the defense throws him a curve?
  19. I suppose it never occurred to you that Edwards was one nanosecond away from a Losman type strip/fumble the instant before Adrian whacked him. The Bills were very, very lucky that all they lost was the complete season on that play. Wilson very likely could have pranced into the end zone and made it a 54-whatever game.
  20. Trolls follow other posters around to badger them. You've come here to badger me. Check out how much football content you posted here versus how many times you've attacked me personally. See what I mean? YOU are the troll. YOU are a crappy troll at that.
