  1. Apparently 275# is a figment of the NC State SID's office.  There is no way if he is 6-9 with that build that he isn't already well above 300#.

The problem as I see it is basketball is a game where you try to be as tall and imposing as you can.  In football line play, - Low man wins.

Tight Ends need to be tall and imposing, but O-line probably a tougher place to transition.

Alejandro Villanueva was 6-9 - West Point grad and Army Vet. Too Tall Jones was 6-9 as well.

    First order of business...

Hire 100+ full-time refs and pay them $200,000/yr (and they must quit their other job).

I got a sneaking hunch that a number of NFL referees make much more that that number at their "day" jobs.  Officials are attorneys, CPA's CEO's general managers, all of those jobs pay well above the numbers you are showing.

Sign Daquan and then add to the DL and S rooms in free agency.  Address remaining needs in the draft.

Hoping that we can get two or even three quality starters out of this years draft.

Perhaps Kincaid and Torrence have opened McD's eyes to the fact that rookies can play in this league.

  4. Jim Brown retired after 118 games with 12,312 yards gained and 106 TD's

Henry has played 119 games, has 9,502 yards gained and 90 TD's

Have to wonder how much he has left in the tank.  Elliott came into the league at the same time, and he didn't exactly rock the league this year.

Screw the defense. Give this man three top receivers, good protection, and a run game, and he will score 75 points a game.

49'rs have all of that [good wideouts, good O-line, good RB's], and a QB on a 7th round rookie contract.  Tough to do when your QB is highly paid.  Also think that they fleeced Carolina on the Cmac deal.

Jay Riemersma was a very underrated player while with the Bills.

Pete Metzelaars is the Bills career leader among tight ends - Played 8 seasons including all 4 superbowl teams. 302 catches in 156 games with 25 TD's. 2921 yards.  Former Division 3 basketball player of the year and national champion at Wabash College.  Tied for 10th all time in receiving TD's for the Bills.

100%, not to diminish Kincaid’s obviously ridiculous talents because he’s a stud, but the Bills have never had an elite TE.

I’m sure there’s other teams who also have had no such luck at TE in their history but it’s probably not many lol.

And of course arguably one of the top 3 tight ends in NFL history grew up in Buffalo, and we selected Torell Troup ahead of him.

We've figured out the Dolphins, ... Very much hoping we don't have to deal with another extreme heat situation in Miami again.

League needs to address this before one of the larger guys has heatstroke.  Perhaps have the Dolphins on the road for the opener and night home games in September.  Average daily high in Miami is 89 in September, drops to 86 in October.  Skew the home schedule towards Late October on.

I think Jacksonville has the same issue in September, but temps drops off more quickly in October.  Most of the other hot weather cities are Domes - Atlanta, NO, Houston, Dallas, Arizona, LA.

Why would theses guys have left????

I feel like that’s who Beane will target, even tho I don’t think that type of player is really a great fit to pair with Josh

Our WR needs are a largish Mike Evans/MVS type with 4.4 speed & great ball skills in close quarters, and a John Brown type who makes defenses respect Josh's arm.  Still wondering if Isabella, who has elite [4.31] speed, can ever become that John Brown/Don Beebe guy.

  10. I've been to two playoff games, and am 0-2.  1963 vs. the Pats in the Rockpile, and at Nashvegas for "The Music City Forward Lateral".  My top regular season game was watching Cookie run for 5 TD's and [at the time] a pro football record 243 yards in a mosh pit at the Rockpile, I'll have to go back and tally my other outings.

Now if YE OLE was sitting down and hashing this out... YE would want to try to keep Daquan Jones, Rapp, and either Floyd or Epenesa. Rapp wasn't great (the int in Miami notwithstanding), but we need someone there that is not Cam Lewis or Hamlin, and he has a year in the system.

Some of these guys like Dodson and Jackson if they don't find a market elsewhere would be ideal to keep, but not at significant cost.

Spotrac has Gabe projected around $13.6 mil and Tee Higgins projected around $18.6 mil. If those numbers prove to be reasonably accurate, and the powers that be have any inkling to try to bring Gabe back, it would be great to take a swing at Higgins instead. YE OLE would still come back and take a swing at WR in the first rd too, gents!

If the Bengals don't tag Higgins, You can bet Callahan will be doing everything he can to get him to Tennessee. Titans have a RIDICULOUS amount of cap space available.

... Milano and TB43 shores that middle up for YEARS to come with Big Ed there as well

Hate to bring this up, Cookie had a serious injury, given T. White's recovery time before reinjury, there is always a risk Milano may not be the same Cookie that was a key part of our defense, I think that means we have to do what we can to keep Dodson, or trust that Dorian Williams can augment whatever version of Milano comes back.

Fullback is one situation where the name followed the body type and role, regardless of where he lined up.

Jim Brown was called a "fullback"  He was a prototype of a modern day "running back", speed, power, able to stretch the field in passing situations, not especially interested in pass protection.  Cookie Gilchrist was a FULLBACK, Boobie Braxton was a FULLBACK.

Diggs is 30 now and will be 31 next season. That's not old but if his subpar 2nd half of the season wasn't injury related then his decline will probably continue as he gets older.

PFF has Diggs graded at 21, and there are no surprises among those ranked above him. Keenan Allen, Mike Evans, and D Hop are the only WR's OLDER than Diggs who are graded higher.  The one thing tho, the best ability is availability, and Diggs did have the fifth most snaps in the league among wideouts.

  15. Not sure where Marv gets 1/3 of the game.  Snap counts for Teams in 2023 were about 17% - 1/6 of the game.  We have Bass, Martin, Ferguson, Gilliam, Matakevich & Neal as core special teamers, Spector and Hamlin played more snaps on teams than on O or D - everyone else played meaningful snaps on either O or D.
