People forget Dorsey was the QB on what is widely considered to be the greatest college football team of all time. He's been to the top of the mountain.

Dabs just did his old team a HUGE solid. Tannehill already was a head case, this will exacerbate it.

Watt is $24MM of Steelers cap. Yikes, If he goes to IR does that all count?
-
Giants are still a team with a lousy roster, so even Daboll wont be magical for a bit.

If the Dolphins had a top tier QB with this current roster, they would be a serious threat.
If rumors are true that could be TB12.

Josh did it on the run with a flick of the wrist.
and he only had one foot planted when he threw it. His arm strength is otherworldly.

There were 55 other plays in addition to those three explosives that tell much more of the story.
The opening drive was a thing of beauty, chunking out 6 yards a play, defense had to start selling out, and then it was pitch and catch to Davis for the easy score.

It should be noted that Cookie scored 31 rushing TD's in 42 games.
OJ had 57 in 112 games
Thurmal had 65 in 173 games
Cookie just never got along with his coaches.

Does having Saffold and Quessenberry on the Bills help Frazier game plan for King Henry?

I totally disagree with this. I don't think any other color guy has a better eye for why a play has or hasn't worked and is able to break it down 2 seconds after it happened than Collinsworth.
Some of the fluff stuff is annoying. But as an actual game analyst he remains just about the best.
I do know this is not the consensus view. But that is honestly my take.
Romo is probably better than CC day in and day out. CC does have the advantage of owning PFF, so access to a lot of material and knowledgeable staff.

We do have what amounts to a "mini-bye" Playing last night 9/8 and then a week from next Monday 9/19, that's 11 days.

LA averaged 27 ppg last year, they scored 10 tonight, and the FG was on a short field.

Is he really up to 227 now? Dude has been killing the gym.
Gabriel Davis' trainer Bert Whigham told PFF's Doug Kyed that the receiver now weighs 227 pounds.
Davis is listed at 210 pounds but reportedly played last season around 220. Whigham talked up Davis' weight gain to Kyed: "He’s bigger, faster, stronger. He’s put on muscle. People say that’s too big, but he’s 23 years old. He’s just growing into his natural body. You’re going to see a big receiver." Davis has been used primarily as a deep threat in the Bills' offense, with a rookie average depth of target of 17.4 and a 15.3 aDOT in 2021. In his breakout playoff game against the Chiefs, he saw an absurdly deep collection of 10 targets, at an average depth of 20.5 yards. Davis' added weight is unlikely to change his downfield role, but will instead make it more difficult for corners to break up Josh Allen's deep shots. Davis is a safe bet to remain an inconsistent fantasy option who is dependent on hitting big plays downfield. However, he brings a huge weekly ceiling to the table if he can fully establish himself as the No. 2 option in Buffalo's passing game, which he looks set to do with a good training camp.

Thats probably true. Honestly I'd be fine if he threw a few more 50/50 balls. Diggs and Davis fight for the ball well even though they don't have elite size. They position themselves well and of course there is a chance to draw a PI.
Davis has elite size for a WR. 227 pounds is crossing into Megatron territory.

Martin averaged about 4 net yards per punt more than Haack did last season, wonder how much is due to the thin air in Denver where he played 9 of the 17 games.

I saw Cookie Play, turned pro in Canada out of high school, after Paul Brown cost him his college eligibility, Played both ways in Canada (MLB on D) and actually was the Bills kicker in '62. A man among boys at the time, same size as the defensive lineman.

Every year there seems to be one or two unexpected upsets on the first week of the season. I’m picking the Texans over the Colts. What’s yours?
Really, Houston was 31st against the run last year, and the Colts have a guy named Jonathan Taylor. Jerry Hughes is aging and his forte was never stopping off tackle runs.

Fox has the worst stable of broadcasters. Brady needs to retire and join them already, maybe he can be entertaining.
Brady's wife is worth more than he is. I think you will seem them involved in an ownership situation down the road.

Years ago one of the best punters in the league was Randall Cunningham, but they wouldn't let him punt except once in a while. He had 20 punts for a 44.7 average but while with the Eagles he punted 12 times averaging 51.7 yards per punt. He never had a punt blocked and has the 3rd longest punt in NFL history at 91 yards:
Daryle Lamonica, the Mad Bomber was the Bills punter as a rookie in 1963, 52 punts that year. Replaced by Maguire

Another thing to remember is cap. A punter like Kern could be a could be a million or 2 more than some other punters cap wise.
If Kern is signed as a free agent, Tenn is on the hook for any unamortized signing bonus ($550K), and the Bills can negotiate what they are willing to pay, as can any other team. Doubt anyone will trade for a punter under contract with a $2.2mm salary.

The Bills could offer a 7th rd pick for a trade and see if that is enough or a player they want who the Bills will release.
We play the Titans in Buffalo on 9/19 MNF. Food for thought.

I know Taiwan when he came into the league had a gaudy 4.33 40 time. Blackshear ran a 4.51.
Taiwan also has 500k guaranteed, so they won't save any money this year going with the cheaper rookie.

Just had a look at who we might be able to pick up on waivers on Tuesday and the only real option there is whoever is released between Kern and Stonehouse by the Titans. Otherwise it will be a case of picking up someone via free agency.
Stonehouse if released, will never clear waivers long enough to get to the Bills waiver claiming position (25th).

They didn't even show the TD run, wonder how many times in his career Bobby Wagner has had a QB directly in his sights and not won the encounter.
