Second game in a row the Bills D looks confused. I think the opponents have figured out how to attack the zone. Boy, the Texans look like the Bills on offense.

Maybe the bad things people say about the Texans' run defense are true. I don't care if Josh gets 200 yards passing, rushing is the way to go.

Not trying to be unoptimistic, but the main thing for the Bills is to win the AFCE. And the only competition is the Jets. So today's loss to the Vikings is even more important than the Bills outcome against the Texans. With the loss to the Ravens, it's unlikely the Bills get the one seed. And the defense is still shredded, and the offense has no separators at WR. So let's hope for a nice season but I'm not dreaming about the SB this year. That said, go Bills. They have a fairly strong team and should do reasonably well this year. Now let's get a win today and put more distance between us and the Jets. Allen could have taken the short pass on second down but thought Mack could get open. Silly Josh. On third down he could have run for it.

Even though the Texans have two great pass rushers, I'm more concerned about the banged up secondary trying to stop Collilns than I am about the offense scoring points.

Not seeing anything about Billy Shaw's passing on the NFL.com site. Don't they usually post an article when a HOFer passes? But, he was a guard, possibly the least well-known position. But, he never played a down in the NFL. But, it's the Bills. But, he was a great guy, not lawbreaking scum. But, it was Larry Felser who lobbied for years to get Shaw inducted, and he's not around anymore. So I'm not holding my breath.

Maybe the league has decided to position Josh to win an MVP. Finally. It takes a while for the MVP choice to settle in but once it does it's hard to dislodge it. It was clear by the 3/4 point of last season that Jackson was going to be MVP, as long as he didn't totally screw up, and he never did that. Darnold and Josh became friends when both worked with Jordan Palmer in one off-season. I think they shared a house in California. Wouldn't it be a kick in the pants if Darnold steps in and swipes Josh's MVP award?
