We have a pretty big sample size of this team now being it's been relatively similar the last four years. They either blow teams out or it's a 50/50 proposition (as long as it doesn't go to overtime).
Yep. I'm interested to see how this year's team may or may not differ from that trend. My eyes tell me it's a much more balanced offense... But we haven't seen them have to push.

I'd rather blow everyone out all the way to a lombardi but it will be interesting to see how this team deals with tight games or having to come back.

KC is just getting that rep now. They got the plus end of the officiating in the AFCCG, the SB and now tonight.
It goes w/ the territory of having the top QB - and we saw it w/ Brady over & over & over again. Teams that play the Chiefs have to overcome that to win.
It's nauseating now like it was nauseating then.

I had high expectations for Kincaid and I think he'll live up to them, this season.
Look at our passing attempts per game (25 today?), allens ball distribution, and the running game. Plus being a TE in 12 formation. C'mon folks.

It was way more prevalent 4 to 5 years ago. He's largely eliminated it from his game. Yes. Besides week one.
Josh is playing at an MVP level but the type of play you're describing was prevalent last year. Looks like we've turned a corner and i really think week one was a "good loss" in that respect.

I can't imagine the jets pull this off.

No Wilson does. Dude was double and he still threw it at him without looking anywhere else
The two aren't mutually exclusive. I also posted that after a really bad run design, fwiw.

God Hackett sucks

If the Jets have wins over KC AND Buffalo without Aaron Rodgers they deserve a little bit of talk.
Wilson showing some confidence and competence is an unwelcome development.
Depends if that competence turns into brilliance tbh. Mediocre QB play is purgatory.

Does this mean we have an excuse if we get outplayed and bounced from the playoffs?
What's the point of this? Are we not allowed to lament the loss of Tre here? He's a great player and our best corner by some distance.

I don’t think we should be downplaying what a loss this is.
Did you see his coverage on Hill that last play?
He has an IQ that you can’t teach. And a skill set you just don’t replace.
Especially in a secondary already down a starter.
I’m absolutely calling around for CBs.I agree with all of this save for the final statement, which I'd probably leave for the trade deadline. Even then I'm not sure they do it.
But folks are absolutely downplaying Tre's quality.

4 games into his career. 4! I saw improvement today as well, minus the audible issue (if what romo suggested was right on that drive with the timeouts).
-
Today was fun although I'm gutted about Tre.
But my pre-game position still stands: we'll see what's what in the playoffs.

With Von coming back for the majority of those games
Why rush him back?

He is such a manufactured system player, I mean it is kind of incredible the Dolphins managed to get all those skill pieces around him like this, but he'd be so much worse on a team that doesn't have that much ridiculous talent.
Or McDaniels. Nice player, but it's the really good system and outstanding talent.

Dominant win by the Bills! This win proves the Bills D is for real this year also. Only bad news was the loss of White.
I think that kind of understates the loss but it's technically right.

Pyrrhic victory?

The 1 thing I personally would change is 16 for 11. I don’t know what people expected from this Harty. I don’t know what the Bills expected from him. He’s not it. He never was good and he’s not going to just turn into something here. People want to see him downfield? Why? He’s 5’8. He will never even look open down there. That’s the last place I’d want him. Sherfield runs like Deebo with the ball in his hands. Get that guy into that RAC role. That guy is super physical and much more impressive than I expected. I’m good with Kincaid. I there’s only 1 ball. I don’t know how many catches people think are even possible. But scrap whatever trash package you are forcing Harty into and use Sherfield there. That guy is a player.
Would love to see Sherfield get the LOS plays Harty is getting, that's a great call.
I think Harty will eventually become modestly productive but it will be via actual downfield routes.

Tanking his market value like this is crazy. It's probably already toast, but still. Elam is an NFL caliber player. I think it's in the bills best interest not to trade him for peanuts, but to hang on to him until we need him.
-
He's a great fit for our buffalo nickel, but I'm not sure starting tomorrow against this fish and their passing game is going to endear him to the casuals.
