WR in RD 1 + a reliable veteran outside possession receiver in FA, and an RT in FA to boot. We can hope, right?

Clemons not getting a penalty was absurd. Dawkins was already falling down finishing the block before the whistle blew. That was a JV officiating crew.
The officiating tonight was obscene.

I think Pegula might need Beane for a HC search. I'm a bit worried about Terry and a headhunting crew making a good choice.

Well, that about does it.

Dorsey's signature. Could see it last year too.

Number 2 QB in passing yards in the NFL:
Sam Howell
Eric Bienemy creeping up my list btw.
It's hard to see him as someone suited to a HC position. Would love him as OC.

Pound the rock. Not sure we'll stick with it enough.

Addiction, I guess. Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in. Been on here since 01 and began posting in 09 I believe.

My biggest questions for this team going into the season were: Dorsey, OLine, WR2.
Dorsey has got to go. And Allen needs another WR who can separate.

This is awful.

The loss of Daquan Jones has been massively underrated and understated.
As usual I wanna say my piece and you've already said it.
Jones was a massive, massive loss.

My hot take is....I want so see Isabella in the slot.

I think Josh has been playing really well in this "calmer" phase, which sounds like it's not a super popular take.
I think he could get some help by receivers not names diggs being able to get any sort of separation with regularity.

We're starving for receivers who can separate reliably (outside of diggs). It's completely choking the offense.

They scored a TD but that 2nd and goal from inches away and they lined up in a shotgun was a fireable offense.
Totally agree. Absolute madness.

I don't think Dorsey is among the very worst in the league, but there is ample room for improvement.

Getting to see youth might be an upside if this team wasn't firmly in a trophy chase. Make no mistake if they don't get a lombardi this year we'll hear all the savage takes.
Losing a pro bowl player from every level of the defense significantly diminishes our chances in the playoffs imo.

i suspect you don’t pay attention to whether their 5th best DL hurts his pec though as you aren’t hyper focused on their roster
Am I misreading this or are you implying that DaQuon Jones is out 5th best DL?

Rumors are DaQuan has a possible torn pec. TJ Watt tore his pec week 1 last year and was activated October 26th returned to practice and played his first game, November 11th.Is it possible with Jones to get a mid December return?
Here's to hoping, compadre.

We played a game where we lost multiple starters due to injury, where it was in another country and the opposition which was a playoff team last season had been there for a week and a half and played there the previous week, AND where the referees consistently called all of its penalties against us at important times.
It's a LONG SEASON... pull your heads out of your rectums and move on to the Giants.
None of this is wrong, and we should not be firing anybody (lol at those threads), but the missing component is that it looks like some of the core pillars of our defense won't be with us in the playoffs. That's what sticks in my craw.

This season was going to go as the offense went anyway.
Our D has been entirely unreliable under McD once playoffs arrive.
This was an absolutely elite unit with White, Milano and Jones. Don't believe otherwise.

Without White, Milano and Jones, I don't think this team has the horses to win a championship.
Fingers crossed for an in-season return for both Milano and Jones.

He was worth it until the injury, and now the contract sucks, unfortunately.
I actually think he'll be good next year but it's a real shame we "lost" him for half of last season and I'm assuming all of this season
