  1. Would love to bet, live in Asia though. Gentlemans bet I am happy with, come throw it back in my face three years hence, I will hapily eat crow, if Tebow pans out as a full time NFL qb starter with more tds than INTs. If you win, I hope the Bills drafted him in the 2nd round even!
  2. I had no idea Denney was a morman and think nothing of it either way. My issue with Denney is that he has been an ok but unspectacular backup. However he is getting paid like a back-up so really Denny is fine. Kelsay bothers me immensly, whatever faith he may be.
  3. SU not too great but within the center of the bell curve.... WTF is up with Kentucky??? Basketball Grad Rates: Selected Others Santa Clara 77% St. Joseph's 70% North Carolina 67% Michigan State 64% Kansas 60% Duke 58% Iowa 55% Syracuse 53% Illinois 47% Wake Forest 44% Gonzaga 43% Connecticut 27% Maryland 25% Georgia Tech 19% Kentucky 8%
  4. Not my meaning at all; what I mean is they are justified in holding him out of a game now, when they have already qualified for the playoffs. I don't even agree, I just do see their POV.
  5. He is a small step up from Fred Edelstein. He hasn't been in jail yet. As for football inside knowledge, they are equals. If Cowher should sign with Buffalo, Magoo will say what a wonderful job they did keeping it under wraps, without missing a blink. And Sean Salisbury isn't there anymore to bring it up and laugh at him, so it will be largely forgotten what he said before, except by those on this board. Remember these guys all have to come up with SOMETHING almost every day and there is just not that much info out there that is new. Easy thing to report, easy thing to have deniability about later.
  6. I communicated with a youth just the other day. Went fine. And I hold no degree in youth communication and have no formal training in that arena. Much less a 3.66 from the academic powerhouse that is the Universtoy of Florida.
  7. standard of care." Man, I love this guy Leach! The investigative attorney that took these statements also says Leach confirmed these accounts and when asked about the abusive language toward James, Leach replied "If I didn't say it I wish I had".
  8. ok either way, that showed them the potential disaster of losing one of your key guys to your SB chances
  9. They have great luck, the Steelers, seems they are really blessed. They turned down the excellent coach Dungy and in the end it was NOT a mistake. Why are the Bills so eternally between a rock and a hard place?
  10. I think TT and the James's are havign a difficult time finding someone who has anything negative to say about Leach, or anything even remotely positive to say about Adam James. wow, he must be despised, Adam James, by his (soon to be ex) team-mates.
  11. Carson Palmer's late season ACL injury a few years ago completely ruined what was a very good chance for the Bengals a few years ago. I would think that looms large in their thinking here.
  12. I think he would hold sufficient sway over a 70 year old (and very bright and competant, so very useful) Nix to satifsfy him.
  13. The winner of the Academic All-America® of the Year award for the second straight season, senior quarterback Tim Tebow will guide #5 Florida (12-1) into the Allstate Sugar Bowl on January 1. The Gators, who had their 22-game winning streak snapped by Alabama, will face fourth-ranked Cincinnati (12-0) in the Sugar Bowl. A family, youth & communication studies major with a 3.66 GPA, Tebow became the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy in 2007. A three-year starter, he is putting the finishing touches on a remarkable college career. Tebow helped Florida win two national championships with a four-year record of 46-8. A native of Jacksonville, Fla., he has passed for 8,588 yards with 83 touchdown passes in his career. He has also rushed for 2,614 career yards and scored 55 TD’s. The Southeastern Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2008 and 2009, he was selected to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America® Football University Division first team for the third straight year. What is that major, exactly? Could it be that a 2.0 GPA physics or chemistry or even English Lit. major is a little brighter? Hmm.... I can only hope he never comes into contact with my family or youth and tries to communicate with them. With a 3.66 GPA in the subject, he likely could get through.
  14. Point taken. That guy is very likely at peace with himself and the world and in that, is a huge winner in life over most of us. I think he is a farmer in Iowa so, living the good outdoor life too. Lucky man.
  15. Until they decide on a crusade to rape your women and pillage your village in the name of Chritianity. Or kidnap you and enslave you for 400 years in order to help you lose your own anamistic or pagan beliefs and find Jesus Christ. Evangilism is a slippery slope. Muslims are now where Christians were a few hundred years ago (and still are in some places). keep it at home, everyone, the world would be better off. Anyway, back to football.....
  16. He is sober and wants more work, clearly. Good for him. I hope he gets all he wants he is a great ex-soldier for the Bills and a good human being
  17. Cowher announcement on Tuesday. All the interviews just a smokescreen.
  18. I wish the Bills could find a sh**ty failure of a GM like Ozzie Newsome....
  19. I actually agree 100% with you on that, getting the home field advantage is key. But home field with Jim Sorgi vs. away with Peyton..... both viewpoints have their pros and cons.
  20. I don't mind he is Christian just that he takes it so far and pushes his christaianity on the rest of us. Leave your beliefs at home, not under your eyes on National TV and in every interview. That smacks of zealotry which I don't like, no matter what the religious cause. Makes me think he is not too bright, also, sorry. Remember the guy that refused to play in the NFL because they played on Sunday? I have no problem with that guy at all; he kept it to himself when he played in college, then, refused the money of the NFL because of his beliefs. Good for him. Not too bright, though.
  21. Bench depth. Once you are in the playoffs, you have to meet other good teams regardless. Meeting them with your best players healthy is better. Thats the theory. Your points are well taken though and relevant.
  22. Well hes going to win the national championship this year so I guess college is just his game.
  23. That seems a little arbitrary and may well backfire on you.
  24. I think most critics don't like his baseball-pitch style delivery, the Florida system as it translates to the pros, or his frame. I am with you though, I don't like him because of the Christian stuff, 100%. Nutcase zealot.
  25. 6 of one, half dozen of the other. Neither was much to work with.
