Williams ceiling is a backup. Because we have backups like Spector, Andreesson, and Ulofshio on the roster makes us severely lack judgement on the roster for backups. Williams as a starter is possible but it should not be. not in this system. the defense we run through mcd's system is very dependent on top tier LB's. it's why it performed so well with Keuchly and Davis in Carolina. Thomas Davis was so underrated, at that. Just like Bernard is and Milano was. But this is also because the plays get funneled to our LB's. the big plays and action is right at their feet by design. if they're not capable of performing at a high level they're left spinning, like spector. i think spector is a good linebacker. i think he should be traded to a team like baltmimore. if we go down 1 linebacker we are screwed considering we play 2 linebackers most of the time it doesn't seem like a big deal because we have 3... but when we need to run 3 LB's we won't have a plan or method to do so.

Meritocracy doesn't reward people who push referees around unless they're a supreme talent, doesn't excuse domestic assault and rape charges for $$ and a premium draft trade, etc. The NFL is a very tricky organization. I remember when every single team refused to draft a top tight end from Arkansas maybe because he may have had consensual relations with his underage niece when he was like 19 and she was 15.
