  3. Knowing that he can no longer use Crabtree to try and inflate his contract, I would assume then Maybin signs the deal we have been offering him and says "my bad." Then continues to try to explain to fans to understand the "business" side of things in the NFL.
  4. The fact that they seem to be waiting for another player to hopefully blow up the slotting raises a serious red flag in my book. There's not much to say that hasn't already been written in this thread, but I agree 100% with the idea of telling him that even if Crabtree's signing does raise what he could get, we are paying him in the range we are offering. The Bills have a good history of getting top picks in camp very quickly, so I believe this is all on Maybin, who perhaps is getting bad advice. IMHO, if doesn't play in at least one preseason game then I really wouldn't care to have him at all. I know, eventually he will sign, but if we actually told him to f off, I wouldn't even care. 1 great 1st round pick in Wood + one completely lost first round pick in Maybin pretty much equals a first round bust in my book, and I am used to that. Tell him the deal is 5-25-14, you have until one week before the last preseason game to sign it. If not, please don't call unless your offer is 50% less than this. And leave it at that.
  5. My favorite part of the new madden is the coaching boosts/declines. Certain coaches carry with them certain perks on the players. EX: Mike Singletary +5 AWR (awareness) to entire team and +3 AWR to all MLB's on the roster. Dick Jauron? -5 AWR to all players. lol. Even EA thinks Jauron stinks.
  6. Noted. Thanks for the help guys.
  7. I agree however this is not an interview, it is just pre-employment testing.
  8. Ok, Let me first start off by saying I desperately want/need this job. Got a call yesterday, and I am going in for pre-employment testing. The man I spoke with specifically said to dress "casual" and not to over-dress (it's a plant after all) I obviously don't want to go in there looking like a slob, but don't want to overdress and make him think I didn't listen to him. Is a pair of tan slacks, tennis shoes (I'm walking, no car. but it's literally only 200-300 yards away from my house) and a short sleeve polo shirt appropriate for this?
  9. The GF is Mrs. Gnome.
  10. I honestly really appreciate all of the feedback guys. My case was filed today, and the bank agreed to include all the reposession fees into my case so I'll be getting it back early next week. Oh, and Mrs. Gnome didn't kill me.
  11. Beautiful Niagara Falls.
  12. Pray for me. Please.
  13. Well I will be using my girlfriends car while she is at work, but I really am going to need my own once I (hopefully) land one of these jobs this week.
  14. At this stage of the game I doubt I could get anything from Uncle Billy without a co-signer; which I don't have.
  15. Well after the layoff, my bankruptcy has finally taken the worse turn possible for a man with two job interviews Thursday and Friday. Ten minutes ago my car got reposed. I'll make it to the interviews sure, but I have no long-term transportation now for the first time since I was 17. My savings went to the lawyer to file my case, so now: No cash and No ride. The bank wants around a grand to give it back, which is impossible in the ten day window they offer. Buy here pay here? I know they prey on the desperate, and insane interest rate will suck. But at this point what other options do I have? I was wondering if anyone (especially in the Buffalo/Niagara area) had any experience with my situation. I know I would be best suited to save over a few weeks and buy outright, but the pennies I collect on unemployment go the utilities/food/mortgage. I'm really screwed. I need a car to drive to the job, but a job to buy the car. And worst of all: Telling Mrs.Gnome whom is still sleeping that the car is gone. Can't wait for that one.
  16. Sadness is a cause of anger.
  17. What me and him said.
  18. I believe there's a college coach he likes... what's his name again?
  19. Except for Steely not giving me his camera. That is saddening.
  20. I was hoping someone would get that reference. The main reason why I post here? I'm never disappointed.
  21. Morgan Freeman could narrate paint drying and make it lovely.
  22. The problem is the INCREDIBLE markup the NFL makes on clothing that costs about 4-5 dollars maximum to make. They cash in big time on the loyalty of their fan base by their insane brand markup. I'm not a rich man, but i bought a 75 dollar replica jersey of lynch when he was drafted and within 10 washes the screen printing almost completely faded out. I would love nothing more than to be able to pay $200 for an authentic jersey of my favorite players from Reebok, but I can't. The Chinese knock-offs are a better product at a cheaper price than the replicas. Oh, and BTW. Look at the tag of your offical jersey. "Made in El Salvador." Buying from China does not effect manufacturing jobs in the U.S.
  23. I've probably contacted every seller on DHgate about personalized jerseys, and that's about the lowest I have found as well. I found a website from a seller who isn't on DHgate who claims to sell replica (Not sewn) customs for $45 a piece including shipping. I emailed him a bunch of questions and if I'm satisfied I may order one.
