It seems the Bills selected players who had very productive college careers, unlike Maybin who was a one year college wonder. Is this finally the proof we need to accurately say Buddy was not part of the Maybin Fan Club and would not have selected him?

I would have no problem with him coming back.

I read Tim Graham's thoughts in his AFC East Blog yesterday about Nick Mangold and his ability to block nose tackles such as Wilfork without assistance. I noticed that his size and intelligence are the same as Eric Wood. Would the Bills be better off to move Wood to center, his natural position, and move Hangartner to guard. Levitre played tackle in college and did a good job with the Bills at spot duty this year. Incognito could be resigned as the other guard. I wasn't overly impressed with Butler as a starter, but I think he is great as a back up at two positions. So the line could look something like this: RT: Levitre RG: Incognito C: Wood LG: Hangartner LT: 1st round pick I think we would have some maulers for run blocking and some great pass protection.

The question is do we want to take the third tackle off the board with the number nine overall pick or would we be better grabbing Mc Clain from Alabama, the first LB off the board?

Unfortunately the children of our owner have zero interest in owning the team.

Some positives about this: 1. He has worked with Buddy Nix in the past, so there is a good relationship between them. 2. He has worked with great QBs Brees and Rivers. 3. Sanchez showed a lot of improvement this year. 4. His Dad should be involved with the team in some capacity. Negatives 1. He is not Bill Cowher

This could be easy to explain. Permission to speak with Rivera would have to come from A.J. Smith. Nobody knows for sure what the relationship Buddy Nix and Smith have presently, but it is probably safe to say that working for Ralph Wilson is not something Smith would recommend.

Maybe they agreed to attach themselves for only specific locations? Carolina, TB or Jax?
