Jeez, cut it out!
Schwarz is excelling at DC, so lets promote him to HC, where in the past, he hasn't excelled.
Cut Orton, and EJ, and replace them with... er... somebody else ? Who exactly???
Our team has progressed to 8-6, and next week we play the miserable Raiders. We are likely looking at a 9-7 season, which would be our best since '04- a record that has not been better since '99. But, CUT MARRONE. TIME TO REBUILD!!!
What are you smoking??? (I wish there were a bong-smoking emoticon)
My sentiments exactly. DM will probably deliver the first winning season in ten years so they should fire him.
Is there a word for people that like to be miserable.

And if it is an ugly December, so be it! But good god, man, where's your pride? Where's your backbone?! They've won two in a row, have the best defense in the league, and they're one game back for a playoff birth. Even if the Donkeys would beat the Bills 99 times out of 100... there's still that one time. Maybe that's this Sunday, maybe it isn't. Wallowing in possible future misery doesn't allow yourself the ability to enjoy the present. And right now the present is fun for this team and fans! Get on board! Join the party! They're fighting for their playoff lives against the Goliath of the NFL with four games to play -- if now isn't the time to get excited, then brother, when is??
+1
I'm actually confident the Bills will win, I really am. I may be disappointed come Sunday (Monday morning for me), but that's for future Downunderbill to worry about.
My prediction is Manning gets hit early and often and is put of his game or gets injured. I'd prefer the former over the latter because I like Manning, but when playing the Bills I'm OK with either of these scenarios.

His claim to fame:
To Buffalo? No thank you.
This picture clearly shows he can relate to being a Bills fan.
-
indeed, i am going to real stoked when we blow them out!!!!!
And when Kiko comes back, QB's will be benching themselves before the games start!
OH Kiko, I can hear the excuses now. The dog ate my play book or my kids are sick.
Lucky teams have a third stringer that might be willing to sacrifice their lives for a bit of playing time.
-
The D will make Manning look so bad they'll bench him in favour of Osweiler. After all, no one benches QB's like the Buffalo Bills.
Not worried at all.
-
If the Bills can somehow win in Denver there are a few other match-up's which will favor the Bills. Payton is not infallible against good defences so I'm going to remain hopeful.
-
The Bills certainly started a trend benching EJ.

Right now we sit 11th in the AFC. If we beat CLE, we move past them, at least into 10th. 4 division winners means that there's still 5 teams we'd need to displace that I believe at least now, we lose tie-breakers to all of them. Haven't worked out the scenarios yet (I do know BAL plays SD this week, so one of them is bound to get a loss), but I personally think it's quite possible that we'd miss at 11-5 & downright doubtful that we'd be able to overtake them rest of the teams ahead of us to get in at 10-6.
IF we win this week, maybe I'll start to investigate various permutations. Calculations become exponentially easier each week.
If we beat Cleveland there are 4 possible AFC teams we could come up even with this weekend. All relies on the Bills to keep winning and get on a roll like one we haven't seen in a number of years.
It's an up hill battle for sure considering our schedule, but I remain hopeful.
Thanks guys. Its going to be a B word, but I feel its going to come down to winning at NE. And even if they have home field locked up, Billy Beeeoch will play his starters just as a FU to us.
If he does I hope the Bills D give Brady an absolute hiding, if only to make BB reconsider that strategy in the future. Having said that I always hope for a Tom Brady smack down in any case.

The only real benefit as a football fan for a roof is that we would host some superbowls in Buffalo. Is it really worth that?
Superbowls bring a lot of income to local businesses and there is potential for other non-football related events to be held at a domed/retractable roof stadium during the cooler months.
A retractable roof stadium would be a good compromise for return in investment and keeping those southerners in unfavorable conditions.

Getting a bad feeling about this game.
-
Kyle Orton is not the major problem with this team, as he didn't fumble the ball away in critical situations. Nor did he make the call to go for it on 4th down with a lot of time on the clock. Kick the FG and its only a one point game.
That really annoyed me as well.

It's such a week to week league but honestly, i could see both the Chiefs and Browns beating the Bills in Orchard Park. I'm a bit worried.
The Bengals looked like the worst team in the NFL. Their offence was atrocious, defence allowed 170 yards on the ground and three rushing td's. Just can't see the Browns having a day like that against the Bills, but you're right, it is a week to week league.

Bowery4 same schnit you wrote in other threads, how many of your spectacular 3704 post are observations on how many posts the original poster has.
You seem to provide a valuable contribution to a discussion, keep it up.

The very same. Also the panther team that's crushing the new york giants at the moment.
-
Although it isnt a need, Jesse Williams DT Alabama is great value in the fourth.
I would love to have an Australian on the bills, bit of a home country connection to cheer for.

Take 2 qb's this year, whoever their top prospect is and a flier like scott in the later rounds. No qb and no playoffs in 13 years isn't a coincidence. Time to get serious about the position.
-
IMO they have to get one of the top prospects this year. The kolb signing puts the bills in exactly the same position as the last 12 years. If they string together a few wins they're out of the running for a top prospect next year, and on it goes.
-
We'll have THE weakest roster next year, but at least we'll have the top pick and ANOTHER new head coach...
The bills are not going to have the weakest roster unless Jacksonville dramatically improve over the rest of the offseason. They are not going to give up on their head coach after one season either, he is not responsible for this roster.
-
I agree, and keep drafting 2 every year till they find a franchise qb.
-
That would be safeties, not safties.
Remember you wouldn't have an internet without us to complain about us.
You correct someone, and then throw out a sentence like that.
-
The thread in the nfl.com game room was the same. The Bills fans saying the Bills were going to win were laughed at. When some Bills fans said the Bills would lose, they accepted as realists. It's funny though, the Cheifs fans went quiet really quickly.
-
made sure the Raiders and Patriots would not fold
And damn him to hell for that.
-
I remember Jim Kelly saying he loved the big hits, they fired him up. ahh the good ole days.

Not many thought the Bills could beat Green Bay but this D has a way of getting the worst out of QB's lately, they made two of the three best QB's in the league look pretty ordinary, so I'm holding out hope that they do the same to Brady. Brady on the other hand has more a lot of experience against Buffalo.
Looks like this season could come down to the last game which in itself is exciting considering the recent past. I'm getting my popcorn ready.
