  1. Do you guys get all of the Bills games on your local CBS affiliate or do you have to subscribe to NFL Sunday ticket? Also, if you do get the games on your CBS affiliate, what is the name of the station? Thanks
  2. I wonder how weird it wil be particularly for Josh Reed to have his former QB (Van Pill) now as his coach
  3. my bad...I double posted by mistake....I havve this thread elsewhere on the board
  4. How many current Bills players were on the roster when Van Pill was our QB As I am typing this, I heard on ESPN news that Van Pelt is a Co-Offensive Coordinator with Eric Studesville....If I am remembering right didn't Studesville call plays before? I think under Mularkey Speaking of Mularkey, think about this, how often is it that a rookie head coach leaves a head coaching job under his own will......Did Mularkey see something?????

  6. Ignore these fake mods also
  7. Welcome to forum and forget these closet English teachers
  8. Agreed.....of course nobody is saying he is Bruce Smith......but the way he made that sack, I wasn't sure if he really wore a bills jersey because we never seem to get DE's with that kind of talent, we usually have the LT's getting beat by DE's like Maybin
  9. I hear so much about lankster (rightfully so), what about the kid Harris out of USC.....after all, we did draft him a round before Lankster?.....I am just curious to know why is that we haven't heard his name mentioned at all.....does he get any playing time??? btw, why not cut Florence...after all, the guy does cost like 3 mil a year.....Corner, Youboty and Lankster all are well under 500,000 a year
  10. Wow, you are good. Way to put that guy in his place. It also proves the point that we should just talk about football. I really don't care how people type on here as long as we can understand each other.
  11. If you and the rest of your "English Faculty" truly wanted to help those of us who cannot properly speak/type the English language properly. Why not consider sending private messages? Why attempt to embarass people in a public forum if your TRUE intent was to "help". I am sure it would be much more appreciated and it would help to keep the thread on topic.
  12. well said BTW, I am from Bmore too
  13. This guy cant be serious. This is a football forum......we aren't typing papers in here......
  14. I am not necessarily saying when they should implement it...obviously I am not expecting to see the team go WCO next week ....... I am just saying in theory if this is the guy to build around, why aren't we headed into that direction of the WCO......I think the first thing that jumps out at you about Trent Edwards is that he is an ideal West Coast QB.......if the no huddle thing works out then forget everything I am saying.....but when I think of T Edwards, I think of WEst Coast Offense.....just something to throw out there
  15. To me, Trent Edwards appears to be an ideal fit in the West Coast Offense. If he is going to be our QB of the future, why not have a West Coast Offensive philosophy? After all, that is what he ran in college and Bill Walsh gave Trent Edwards the big thumbs up. I see no reason not to employ it
  16. lmao!!!!!!!! Too funny!!!!
  17. agree 100%
  18. obvisouly people have way too much time on their hands or don't know football.....can you believe people are talking about cutting this kid based on one play???????? or benching him????? ...wow!!!!!!....people we are talking about one play in the first preseason game!!!!!........how about you talent scouts do this....dvr the game and then go back and watch every series for each individual lineman.....and then report your findings...instead of just running with one play
  19. trade for a guard???? or dime back???? please tell me you are joking
  20. How do we know that Wood is better than Levitre????? My goodness, we haven't even waited until Sunday evening to make these judgements.....let's just give it some time ppl...for all we know , Livitre could end up being better.......and if u think I am crazy, then let me ask u this.....who would u rather have on your team Hardy (2nd rounder) or Johnson (7th rounder).....last year we would have been crazy to ask such a question but this year, I bet the majority would rather have Johnson
  21. Reed is one of the better slot receivers in this league. There is no reason to put him on the trading block. The guy knows how to get open. With all the attention owens and evans are going to get Reed is going to have the season of his career; especially given the fact he is entering a contract year...He is NOT underpaid.....lets just hold the line...no need to trade anyone....Hardy may not be around anymore anyway...and by the way dont forget that the bills are going to be doing alot of 4 wr looks this year
  22. Trent Edwards has far more arm strength then Chad Pennington.....I don't know who has those concerns about his arm strength....ppl to often confuse conservative play for lack of arm strength....Trent can make every throw on the field....I would rate his arm as adequate.
  23. I dont know why people dog out Bryan Scott. Pro bowler no, solid player?...absolutely....Ko Simpson will battle it out with Wilson.....one of the two will be cut....I also don't know why people are so down on Fine at Tight End....the few reps he got last year, I saw some good things from him...adequate blocker....decent route running and good separation (for a tight end)...this kid will certainly win the starting job this year and he is going to be put up solid numbers.....I like schouman in as a second tight end....he has very reliable hands and is probably the best blocker of the three tight ends....this will give the rookie Nelson time to develop and bulk up...... also, bills will NOT keep 7 wr's on the roster...that would be crazy.....watch for Jenkins to be cut leaving the 6wr's in order to be: Evans, Owens, Reed, Parrish, Johnson & Hardy and while talking about Parrish, let me say this.....he is not a great slot receiver...lets put this to rest ....how many times was he thrown to in the middle of the field and he didn't make the catch because the DB was too physical and bumped him off the route, got to the ball before him etc......he would be wonderful on bubble screens and end arounds...as long as the opposing D doesnt catch on to it.....Reed is much more effective in the slot....I knows how to find the soft spot in the zone...he is great with the ball in hands...he is a great 3rd down receiver.....remember him during this rookie year?...thats what I expect to see out of him James Hardy hasn't shown much but keep in mind ...the second best Bills receiver of all time didn't hit his stride until his 3rd year (Eric Moulds)...I think Hardy should only be in the game in goal line situations....
  24. Dazed and Confused thanks for the great post earlier...very informative
