Halliburton got no bid contracts under Clinon as well.

Cheney deferred some of his pay for the late 90's over 5 years. This was in his contract and did it before he was VP. That is the money he is getting. It was for his work in the 90's. He got money for bonuses based on their earnings. The last of these he got in 2001, after he became VP because the amount of profits was not known until after he was inaugurated. To make sure decisions of the administration did not affect his income one way or the other, he took out an insurance policy (cost-$15K) to be sure that he was paid this deferred pay if administration policies harmed Haliburton and caused them to go bankrupt. Stock he had was sold and any options he had coming were put into an irrevokable trust for a charity (possibly $8M). Nothing the admin can do will affect Chenewy's income.
The subsidiary that is in Iraq is losing money on these contracts.
Of course, the libs ignore all of this - facts suck.

I was lucky enough to see him at the MGM Grand about 5 years ago. Fantastic! He was already about 76 at the time. Came out and did 40 minutes straight- no stopping for even a drink of water! took a swig and did 20 minutes more. Showed a few clips from Caddyshack and some of his other movies and did 20 more minutes. Side splitting funny- just a little bit dirtier than on TV. Held off on his signature line until the last 20 minutes and did at least 5 minutes of those. The wiping the sweat was not a bit, he really did sweat that much.
Discovered a lot of famous comics at his place in NYC.
Like I said, I'm glad I got to see him live.

I was going to ask if you ever saw Michael Stipe smile? I don't follow them, but in every video and interview I've seen of him, he looks like he's been pisssed that he's going bald.

Gas from beans is due to the bacteria (E. coli) in your intestines fermenting the complex carbohydrates in the beans that your system couldn't break down. With proteins, it may be due to the bugs also.

Dems, spin it al you want, but C-SPAN followed one of the dem advisors (can't remember who) who said to another advisor that it was a draw. 5 minutes later, he said it was a win for Kerry.
