  1. How is that sad..... He obviously enjoys taking part in new years for him to still be doing it, regardless of his health. I find it inspiring and courageous....anything but sad.

I agree... let him have his one night a year to remind us that even after a stroke, the man can still be very productive.

So what if he has trouble speaking and his face isn't normal?? His thoughts are very coherent, still like the old DC, and that is most important! The man is trapped with physical limitations- leave him alone.

  2. The Panthers have a good team and a good coach. Fox was available when your former team (Bills) took Gregg Williams. That's what gets me about the Bills. They (Wilson and front office) keep screwing up time and time again. Bunch of losers!

    So was Marvin Lewis

  3. I remember a lot of pissed off Lions fans during Marinelli's first couple seasons as coach. Never good enough to make the playoffs.

2007: 7-9...Although they started the season 6-2, the Lions collapsed to finish 7-9.

    2008: 0-16

    GO BILLS!!!

Their GM was Matt Millen. Nuff said :worthy:

  4. I will continue to read these boards and post my opinions, but.....

I WILL NOTE CARE ABOUT THIS TEAM ANY LONGER!!

If you don't care, then don't post your opinions here... I don't want to hear any 'opinions' from an ex-Bills fan.

  5. About three weeks ago I sent my ticket for the Pats game to Brandon with a letter stating that this was a show of Non- support for Jauron. Today I will send him another letter asking him to cease all contact with me pretaining to the Buffalo Bills organization. I want no mail, no phone calls. If they do send me a renewel letter I will mark it return to sender, and drop it back in the mail box. But one person will make little difference. I read about protests by boycott, or walk out and saw little to no evidance of it at the game sunday. Just a lot of talk and that is what Old ralphie boy is banking on. The only thing he cares about is the bottom line. How about a show of force from the multitude. Talk is cheap and makes you feel good for the moment but actions are long lasting. I'm calling on everyone to take one for the team.

I mailed off all of my Pirates shirts, caps, a program, and the media guide with a letter stating my termination of association. That's because the organization is purposely lowballing fans to make a profit off of revenue sharing. That is the right thing to do, because they will NEVER care, and will NOT sell anytime soon.

However, the Bills will be sold soon, and if I did that, it would be a huge mistake, for Ralph is doing this to keep the team in Buffalo, and he is in no position to risk more money. By cancelling season tickets, it means the Bills are gone. I'd rather support the Bills now knowing the situation and wait out a couple of years rather than bail now- that's not right.

  6. GO TO HELL RALPH GO TO HELL!!! I'M DONE WITH YOU AND MY SEASON TICKET. YOUR TIME ON EARTH....i'll stop now

Prepare to lose the Bills then... that is most certainly NOT the solution. I was a Pirates fan- I know when an organization is screwing you, and Ralph can't invest heavily in a team that will be sold, but by fans jumping off, we'll lose the Bills for sure :(

  7. 1. If Cowher didn't want the Browns job, what makes you all think he would EVER take the Bills job, or that Ralph would pay him AND give him a lot of control?

    2. I chose the coaches for my list based upon affordability and best candidate for the job.

    3. Brian Billick would raise hell in Buffalo, but our offense probably would be rendered impotent and I would really, really worry about his coach choices with the O.

SIDE: Can you believe that Kevin GILBRIDE is being considered for a HC gig? OMFG, that is rich.

  8. 1. Jim Caldwell, Indianapolis Colts

A prime choice from the assistant coaching ranks. Being from the Noll-Dungy tree, he would immediately bring legitimacy to our team.

    2. Rick Dennison, Denver Broncos

If Mike Shanahan is fired as coach of the Broncos, Dennison would be an ideal fit for a team that has outstanding offensive potential, essentially being a mentor of Shanahan.

    3. Ron Rivera

He's next in line, and very well known. I'd love to see him in Buffalo.

  9. You DO NOT let the Patriots goad you into a scuffle AND THEN lose your mind, not paying attention to the CLOCK!!!!

That to me was just as bad as Losman's fumble, and an extreme BONEHEAD move. Preston, see ya. Get him off of my team as fast as you can, for pee wee football mistakes like that cost teams games.

  10. Similarly, is Jauron as bad as we all currently seem to think? The answer is the same...probably not.

    We are 7-9.

6-0 versus losing teams- San Diego, Oakland, Kansas City, St. Louis, Seattle, and Jacksonville.

1-8 versus winning teams, but Denver still plays tonight.

    0-6 in the AFC East.

PLEASE explain to me how this means he's "not as bad as we all currently seem to think"! Do you not see what is now the writing on the wall, that our wins were all phantoms save maybe Denver???

We didn't PLAY a divisional opponent until Week Nine or something like that....!!!

    Ugh.

  11. Not exactly. If the Jets win, the Pats win the division. If the Dols win, they win the division. I'd say this is the likliest outcome.

Yeah, I was making triply sure.. screwed that up.. doing it without a "generator"

Interesting how a Miami/N.E. tiebreaker goes to 4th breaker as the Patsies lost to the Chargers, but the Fish lost to the Cardinals...!

  13. Thing is, the new administration is all gung-ho for ramping up the guerilla war in Afghanistan.

He had no guts for liberating 30+ million people, but seems hell bent for leather to take the fight into the un-winnable Afghani mountains and beyond. That will be President BO's VietNam and he's welcome to it. It's an effort that is doomed to failure and he's well suited to the task. The white flags will fly when the US body count reaches 1,500. The left has no stomach for war - unless it's a personal war against a republican adversary. JMHO.

You can't hold up a cross and claim it holy and then crucify another on it with the same fervor- it makes absolutely no sense at all- the same as before, when nation building in Kosovo was BAD, and nation building in Iraq was GOOD.

Absolute hypocrisy to the max... is this forum always so one-sided? I think I'm sticking to Bills talk... good gravy...
