  1. Interestingly, I poo-poo'd Bills Fan 34's questioning whether the Bills FO reads these boards, but there's no other explanation how Jauron's approval #'s have stayed at 3% after 2000 more votes have been cast - the Bills FO must be flooding the 'ballot box' faster than we can! :flirt:

I have to think that this is very true, OR opponents are doing it to counteract all of our angst! I say both must be the case...

  2. Trent Edwards doesn't have time to throw, and like all young QB's that take a constant pounding, he is starting to hear phantom footsteps and get nervous feet, I don't blame the kid either. I blame the losers in the front office and coaching staff for not drafting an OT when they traded away the only pro bowler and best O linemen on the team. There are some decent OT free agents still out there, like Levi Jones, Jon Runyan, but then they might want to get paid more then the minimum.

You are wrong- in the Saints game, he had time to throw, but he refused to utilize the mid-to-deep level throw to move the ball, hence his nickname 'Captain Checkdown'. He has gotten into this horrible habit, and it is costing our offense and tiring out our defense, plain and simple. The Miami game just exacerbated his problem by giving him less time to throw to a good receiver short, and Miami's defensive players jumped routes because of the predictability. Elementary to me...

  3. You can continue to chirp and chirp until you run out of energy, but you are still flat out wrong- nothing would have come of us resigning Peters to an overinflated contract- Jauron would still suck, Edwards would still suck, our defense would still be missing key starters, and a losing season would still be imminent!

Continue to waste your time by all means- it is your right, but IMO you are still dead wrong, and will be no matter how loud you are.

  4. I notice all of you Jason Pets haters are quiet now...maybe Peters will send you a postcard from the NFL Playoffs or the Super Bowl!:censored: :censored: :censored:

Tony Romo made the Pro Bowl too.... he must be REALLY great... *GAG*

Is that all you have?? Overpay for an oft injured left tackle who is a revolving door?? Yeah, we're all eating crow...! Please.

  5. Dick Jauron is most certainly going to be fired, it is just a matter of time.

So, who do you think should replace him? My vote is Cowher, to be sure- the ultimate professional who understands what it takes to win on BOTH sides of the ball.

  6. Sam Bradford or Colt McCoy is the solution here... anyone who is willing to do more than play it uber-safe and watch the other team eventually out-score us and our defense collapse into faints because of the time of possession.

Against New England, it looked intelligent. Now that teams know we won't threaten in the middle of the field, it is child's play.

The last drive in the game with Edwards convinced me that he's not the guy for us- it was so vanilla that I swear it looked like we were WINNING rather than losing.

  7. T.O. made his bed years ago and has continued to fuel the fire, so he has nobody to blame but himself. Him trying to blame it all on the media is rediculous on his part, he is obviously in denial. Oh yea, and Dungy wheres a ring on his finger that this organization might never see. He would be the best coach we have had since Levy, and maybe even better than him.

Hmmmm... now who needs meds?? :D

He doesn't need to blame them; it is patently obvious to any intelligent fan what the media is trying to do. Just because Dungy has a ring doesn't mean that he is right, and in this case he is not.

I guess you want the team to be in disarray and for T.O. to run over his own teammates... that in itself says a lot.

  8. Really? Getting upset about a former head coach who is commenting on a player who has been subpar in terms of performance this year? Let's grab the pitchforks!!! damn you to hell Dungy.... come on get serious, when TO starts showing an effort and catching the ball when it's thrown to him, then the media needs to back off. But until then, TO is bringing it on himself.

Yes, really... anyone who thinks it is OK to goad a player into trying to throw his teammates under the bus is despicable, IMO. Why do that when it is so totally unnecessary? We all watch the games, and can see what is going on.

Ohh, by the way, we've only thrown to TO less than 10 times in three games, so there goes the "bringing it on himself" excuse- and when we did try, it was forced into him and overthrown.

  9. wow..... let it go man..... seriously..... anger issues much?

No, don't let it go- keep it up, and maybe more in the media who think that T.O. is somehow slighting them or needs to say something controversial so they can have something to write/talk about will feel the heat.

I love the anger... it is very warranted. Don't lose it- the minute we get complacent is when we lose our power as fans.

  10. Anyone ripping Sullivan for that dead on article are just as goofy as the media ripping on TO's post game press conference performance.

It's a form of misdirected anger and distraction from the fact that the Bills not only currently have the worst coach in the league, but one of the worst NFL head coaches of all time.

I can agree with that- very good point!

  11. I agree that they weren't good. But isn't it funny how every announcer for Bills games gets frustrated while analyzing the game? It's like they want to tell Jauron what to do. Just like the fans want to throw objects at their televisions watching him make lame duck decisions over and over again. This is painful for everyone to watch. Not just fans.

Their call to 'get the ball to T.O. because you pay him all that money' was wrong and cost us at least 3 points off the interception. It happened right after they said it, on the next play, so I'm glad they don't coach the Bills either.

  12. There's no doubt (for me, anyway) that Sully likes attention, and might remind us a little too often about how he's not paid to write puff pieces about the team. However - and I think I'm in the minority here - I don't think any of the questions asked were so unfair or tricky so as to justify the attitude TO pulled off with the reporters. The "affected" celebrity athlete, with dark sunglasses on at the podium who is ... <sigh> ... so misunderstood ... tragically forced to endure eternal torment from the wicked little people ....

Whatever- utter garbage. It is extremely obvious that the media is now trying to obtain a highly controversial tantrum from T.O., and I think it is pathetic. The object is to WIN THE GAME, not to throw to T.O. because we paid him in the offseason- if we win with him as a draw on the defense, then we WIN, no matter how little he touches the ball. We lost because we tried to force it to him, not because he didn't touch it enough!!

Q: On the deep ball at the tunnel end did you pull up on that?

Q: Trent couldn't get the ball downfield and it seemed like everything was short and check downs.

Q: Do you like the plays that are called?

Q: Do you feel you and Lee (Evans) are being wasted in this offense?

Q: How about the decisions that are made after the plays are called? The quarterback's decisions after the play is called?

That first question, like the others I quoted, are horsesh*!. I don't care if they come from Olean or from New York City, they are questions that are deliberately trying to provoke T.O., and it is slimy. I don't care how much money T.O. makes either- I sure as hell wouldn't appreciate questions such as those... you're in the minority on this issue.
