  1. god i hope we don't go OT or DE; Pettigrew.
  2. It's also full of background noise...
  3. If Pettigrew is gone, I wouldn't have a problem with picking Jenkins. It's a huge upgrade.
  4. I don't understand the Oher pick for the Eagles. Either they are not as high on Pettigrew as everyone seems to think, or Andy Reid is the ultimate chess player.
  5. 3. Ralphie is too cheap to hire qualified scouts.
  6. Nice post. I like what you are saying, but I'm hoping for a different outcome. I see the "value" at the 42nd pick in the interior OL, and that's the direction I hope they go. The 28 pick in my mind is the wildcard, and I haven't the slightest clue what they are going to do with it.
  7. They way I look at it is that the Bills have a lot of holes to fill - OT, OG, C, DE, OLB, TE, SS. That being said, I think that drafting Pettigrew @ 11 makes the most sense because he is the best player available at a position of need. The only other player from this list I could see them taking at 11 is Curry, but that is a pipedream at best. I totally understand your point about the need for a pass rusher, but none of the DEs impress me enough to justify using the #11 on them.
  8. Pettigrew will be drafted @ 11. Not only is he the best TE in this draft, everything I have read indicates that he is the best TE "prospect" to come out in the last several years. That's not the type of player you pass up.
  9. Wasn't JJ drafted with the Marcellus Wiley comp pick? For some reason, that is stuck in my brain.
  10. Pettigrew @ 11, Mathews @ 28 (fingers crossed).
  11. Pettigrew, or any one of the USC linebackers. EDIT - My pipe dream is a trade-up for Curry.
  12. Sorry for the flake job yesterday, I appreciate the CB pick. Thanks for all the time you spent on this over the past week, I had a blast trying to keep up with it.
  13. They should re-open the earthquake thread.
  14. That's kinda weird, I mean the whole membership thing. I have a couple of ranges that I go to in the evenings and hit a bucket and drink some beer. It's funny because I spend about eight bucks on the bucket and ten or so on the beer (tip included). I love the driving range.
  15. You are spot on about all of the 'technology' with respect to golf. Bottom line is that everyone wants to be a good golfer, but the vast majority is too lazy to go out to the range and practice. Golf is not easy, but it can be a lot of fun if you have realistic expectations for your round, and you leave your cell phone and your ego in the car. Also - sober golf is for idiots.
