  1. Does anyone else think the Bills may be downplaying the severity of Henry's injury? It doesn't really matter if he gets any playing time the rest of the season because of the way Willis is playing, so why not down play his injury so that in the off-season it doesn't seem like he had to come back from something too bad. I hope its really not that bad, for his sake, but you never know... It's just seems a bit odd that everyone was at first saying he had a fractured fibula, and now we hear the following... "Without going into detail, coach Mike Mularkey said Monday Henry might not have broken a bone in his leg as was feared. Mularkey added the team is conducting further tests on Henry, and should have a more definitive diagnosis when the Bills return to practice on Wednesday." http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/foot...y.ap/index.html
  2. The announcers of the Jets - Cards game touched on that point a number of times.
  3. College nick name. Real name is Mike. There were two Mikes in our gang, so to eliminate all confusion, Mike #1 became Mel (for no apparent reason), and I became duey (again, for apparent reason). But then again, how many things done in college really had much thought behind them.
  4. Yeah...my Vkings fan buddy told me that we should stay way clear of this guy. His Viking teams always seemed to underachieve.
  5. First, after having his team start to experience some success with Josh McCown at QB, Dennis Green inexplicibly switches to Shaun King. To no ones surprise (expect perhaps Mr. Green), the Cardinals lose the two starts King is given. Now, this Sunday, Green is giving the ball to...John Navarre!?!?!? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/foot...e.ap/index.html WTF Denny?!? Not that I give two rats asses about the Cardinals, but sometimes you just have to shake your head and wonder what these guys are thinking.
  6. Well, hopefully the Bills will be making the headlines next week by killing the Phins and bringing those pathetic dolts down there back to reality.
  7. I just made that point in another thread. If we finish strong, how can we sit him or let him go for a guy with no experience? I have a very strong feeling that Drew will be our starter next year.
  8. What better day to have my 1,000th post than after such a fantastic Bills victory. This is the best fan board in the league, and despite the petty squabbles that go on here, Bills fans are the classiest and most knowledgable in the league. GO BILLS!!!! GO TBD!!! GO TSW!!!
  9. Make that two for TD...remember Willis?
  10. I will go ahead and make the blasphemous statement...Drew will be our starting QB next year. If we continue as we have been, and finish the year strong, how can he suddenly be benched for a guy with very little experience. JP may have to sit and wait his turn.
  11. And don't forget...most of those sacks came in those first four games.
  12. Wow...that was a sweet throw by Jake. Game over.
  13. That was just one seriously ugly kick. 3-0 Denver.
  14. Can you imagine...can you just imagine if we win out and actually make it in?
  15. He wouldn't go for that...he'd hold out until he was traded.
  16. Thanks for that, 'cause as we all know, rooting for something will make it so. Thanks, actually, I was just going to try to figure that out.
  17. Yawn...

  19. I love it better when Ice is wrong.
  20. Nah...that's just a little gas.
  21. Has taken a vow of silence over the forced resignation of his main man, Mustache Dave.
  22. Damn, that sucks. Well, he should take solace in the fact that he will be starting somewhere else next year, and he can use getting back at the Bills as fuel for his fire. Sorry Travis. Get better soon.
  23. I was blessed with having to watch that "game" today.
  24. AFC 5-1 over the NFC. The NFC continues to be our B word.
