By now its obvious to all that the protected groups want respect and tolerance for their "values" but when it comes to reciprocating they can't seem to live up to those principals.

  2. By some accounts Isreal is planning a response which is said may occur at any time.

Biden has told them to "take the win".  I think that's good advice for now but given the circumstances and the players I expect they'll ignore it and the situation will escalate further.

    Russian State TV. LOL.

The inconsistency is the usual suspects posting here proclaim Russian State media is complete and total pro-Putin propaganda when it comes to issues like the war in Ukraine but suddenly when "confirmation bias" rears its head on topics such as Trump, suddenly Russian media is the beacon of truth.

The whole thing was scripted theater and drama between the involved parties.  Iran telegraphed the nature of the attack and gave their enemies a week to prepare.  Everybody got what they needed out of it.  The Iranians got to save face by retaliating, the Israelis suffered little to no damage, and the US got to demonstrate the competency of their weapons and strategies while giving Biden a much needed win in the eyes of the voters.

how many wars before you're like...maybe biden has no idea what he's doing?

What's comical is these idiots embedded in the government and the Biden administration are running the system and they're complaining about how THEIR policies and agenda has led to all kinds of negative consequences.  All while insisting on blaming somebody else.  Its quite a racket.

Meanwhile, lots of us amateur political and social observers see how obviously toxic their agenda is to our country.  They have no shame, they have no honor.  They can't be dispatched back to Hell quick enough.

  6. What worries me here is the potential of  terrorist cells to infultrate our southern border the past 3 1/2 year while the Biden  administration was working overtime to flood our country with illegals. It's just speculation at this point but suppose we get directly involved and those sleeper cells get activated in cities all over the country?

How does a racist like this have his own tv show and why are the native Swedes so afraid of brown people? Sad.

You can't import millions of people that have incompatible social and cultural values and beliefs and then expect its all going to work out for the best.  Especially when the newcomers have no desire to assimilate into the larger society.   I think it's what experts might call the Balkanization of a society.  Broken up into cliques and clans with their own sub-cultures that clash and conflict.  A real shitstorm.

One of the first album purchases I ever made, sadly not long after the plane crash.   @muppy saw them at Rich Stadium, as did a good friend of mine.  I was a late to the table so I missed it.

Good for you for doing what you can.  If I think long and hard enough on meat consumption, there are days when I think I could go vegetarian…then I eat some good wings.  Or a BLT.  Or whatever.

So, on your issue with electric vehicles, assume you’re correct and the policy issue is indeed a scam.  Extrapolate a bit—-and I see @All_Pro_Bills has done a much better job than I can highlighting his thoughts above—-and consider other policy initiatives and you begin to understand that how you get to be declared a climate heretic when you question the narrative.

    Welcome to the club.

I saw the original line up of Skynyrd a couple times in my youth in Buffalo at the old Century Theater downtown and a year or two later at the Aud.  It was maybe 10 years ago I saw the revised line up of the band at MSG where they opened for Kid Rock.

My favorite album was Second Helping followed by Street Survivors, and then the first album.  Street Survivors was released just prior to the plane crash.  The original cover depicted the band members surrounded by flames.  After the accident, the MCA Records rushed to remove copies with the original cover from stores and replaced it with one without the flames surrounding the band.  If you have an original copy with the original cover it would be somewhat rare.

I had a long post I deleted. Not worth it. I don’t blame you for questioning stuff. If you Don’t to believe in global warming based on party lines I can’t change your mind. (Of course I’m assuming you’re Republican? I could be wrong.)

For me, the bigger issue of the climate change debate is the popular solution to the problem.  The idea of replacing oil and gas, hydrocarbon energy sources with clean and renewable energy sources such as wind and solar electricity generation.  I think that solutions is completely incapable of supporting human civilization at its current size and scale.

The idea were going to replace all the cheap and efficient energy produced by hydrocarbons with wind and solar is a fantasy.  I'd love to see a proof of concept community of about 100,000 people living a life completely devoid of oil and gas and exclusively run on renewables.  My expectation is such a demonstration would be a complete flop and a wake up call to get serious.  Along with exposing the idea as folly to most people.

I think the actual agenda of the elites running climate policy is they've determined there are just too many people on the planet and "they" need to get rid of maybe 50 to 75 percent of them and it don't matter to them if they get rid of Democrats, Republicans, or Independents.

    Shocking because they never lie...

What the idiots don't get is so simple.  You can't keep handing out trillions of dollars in free money for consumption without making the necessary investments to increase supply, productivity, and the creation of goods and services.  Because people will use that free money to buy stuff without a counter-balancing increase in the supply of stuff which bids up the price of the stuff available because the demand is higher than the supply.

If you want to stop inflation you need to do the one thing the administration and the Fed won't do.  Stop printing and creating more money.

Notice, he says we need spending cuts, and tax increases to get out of this hole...until both parties are willing to acknowledge this, this "real debt" is only going to get bigger.

There's no way out of this "hole".  The situation is beyond repair.  There's no will in Washington with either major political party to do anything.  Nothing will be done until everything blows up.  Then it will be too late.  Just make sure you're prepared in every way possible to be as self-sufficient as possible and not dependent on the government for anything because they won't be there to help you.

I see the aggressor as bad.

I see the nation, more accurately the citizens, being bombarded as victims.

I remain unconvinced that Ukraine is a bastion of democracy, mostly because there seems to be a history of corruption associated with the government.  The fact that the US is providing assistance to Ukraine in no way means they are above question or reproach.   There is ample history of the US government assisting governments, dictators and some not-so-great people.

That said, Ukraine could be a democratic Utopia as you believe, I just don't know that to be true.

Language, Tibsy, language!  H E 🏒 🏒 conveys a similar meaning but doesn't expose tender ears to your vulgarity.

As for election attacks, I accept that Russia has, is, and will attempt to impact our elections.  It's common knowledge that governments do these things.  Look at Ch. Schumer and his comments on Israel.  They got you all riled up, but it's the same old same old. Think Saudi government, and you and your liberal kinfolk getting all torn about MBS for 5 minutes under one administration, raging about how your man Biden was going to bust him up when he got in until, suddenly, he's in, nothing happens, he's besties with MBS and you're booking your trip to Sandals Riyadh.

Some things just are, my friend.

Do people believe the US isn't out there attempting to influence elections in other countries?  If they care to acknowledge that I'm sure they'd argue its all for a good cause.

As for Russia doing it.  Sure they do.  But what comes to mind is the old adage "what's good for the Goose is good for the Gander".

Meanwhile, the US media that would jump on this story in a millisecond of it was somebody else besides Biden (can you imagine the 24/7 non-stop coverage if it involved Trump?), will ignore it and pretend it doesn't exist.  They and the corrupt politicians and system they protect are forcing us to live in their alternative reality where mental patients run the country.  Who do you trust when everyone's a crook?

You know what I’m saying. If you can’t understand that you shouldn’t get involved in any conversation. What do they say about if you keep your mouth shut we might think you are dumb. If you open your mouth we know you are dumb!

Thanks for imparting your wisdom.  But its you chaps that think Americans are somehow under the influence of Putin.  That''s comical.  And regardless of what makes sense for America, if it "helps" Putin we should do the opposite.  That's terrible criteria for decisions.  And the Putin influence scam is biggest political myth of all time.

Do realize the war in Ukraine is pretty much over?  That the administration in Washington is beginning to distance itself from any objective that might be defined as "winning".  That the "retirement" of Victoria Nuland, the architect of American's involvement here sends that clear signal?  That Ukraine has lost so many soldiers that more weapons and funds won't do much without more combat troops which are in short supply.  That they've lowered the conscription age 2 years and State security kidnaps men off the streets forcing them into military service.  And kidnapping citizens and violating their rights under the law doesn't sound so democratic to me.  And most Ukrainians are tired of the war and want it to end whether or not the occupied provinces return to Ukraine, become Russian territory, or become independent.  Most have had enough of Zelensky.  Soon enough he'll be fleeing to his US taxpayer funded Villa in Italy for a comfortable retirement and a gig giving speeches for 100K a shot.

I don’t know anything about the region, and a Burisma connection seems unreasonably convenient.  It would fall into the “50+ of our most experienced intelligence experts declare a laptop to be Russian malfeasance right before a highly contentious presidential election” convenient, but that’s a different discussion.

With respect to Ukrainian activity, I’d think it’s fair to consider whether or not “occasional rogue incidents” accurately reflects what’s going on there.  It would seem unlikely that one side is practicing barbarism on the scale of 10/7, and the other maintaining operational and ethical discipline while in a fight to the death.

I forget the song but it goes something like this...  "There's 3 sides to every story.  Yours, mine, and the truth".

If you talk to Ukraine and the West the Russians are intent on destroying democracy in Ukraine and invading Europe with the goal of re-uniting the former Soviet Union.

If you talk to Russia, the west and NATO want to encircle and isolate their country with the intent of taking over and stealing their resources like oil and mineral resources.

The truth might meet somewhere in between.

I'm skeptical of this Burisma connection but I also never believed the ISIS-K story either.  My guess is State intel of some nation or two, etc., is behind the attack.  Some terrorist group?  Come on.

You continue to beat a dead Horse here.  Nobody cares much about 1/6 given the chaos and destruction the Biden administration has rained down on America.  The economy, chaos at the border, crime and violence, a general lack of civility, inflation and a lower standard of living.  These are things people care about now.

  20. A day of visibility for a group about .003% of the population that gets discussed and media and social attention constantly.  Like we're not hearing trans stories of triumph and tragedy 24/7 already.  Aren't other groups or people worthy of more attention and visibility?

How about Biden proclaiming April 10th as Stefon Diggs Day Of Visibility.  He needs more attention too, ugh...

How about Travis and Taylor?  Who doesn't want more of them?
