  1. I think their bigger issue is that they have 30 players (including Brady and Moss) that are entering their contract year.
  2. Always liked him and his antics.
  3. Or maybe we're hoping that he'll GAIN another 50 lbs, so that he could play LT?
  4. The sad thing is that pit bulls can be some of the most loving and affectionate dogs out there. They are, however, physically capable of extreme violence, but only when provoked, or when they are raised in a certain way. There are honestly more violent dog breeds out there.
  5. Problem is, Nix or Gailey (one of the 2) said that Moats would be placed on the inside, while Batten would be the outside guy.
  6. Actually, there's already a relatively large catholic church right next to Ground Zero (actually, about a block away, but you get the idea). They actually use a crossbeam from the ground-zero wreckage as a symbolic cross outside. And so...very little need for another one
  7. So if that were to happen, who would get the #1 draft pick?
  8. Well, if you feel sorry for him, might as well feel sorry for 90% of all Asian Americans. Most, if not ALL of us, were raised under enormous pressure to be better and more successful than our parents. Granted, there might be a bit more pressure on him, given the spotlight and publicity of the position, but the concept is felt by all of us. I mean, look at me... I wanted to pursue a musical career at Julliard, but I ended up studying Finance, and becoming a consultant.
  9. Wow... PPP really is another side of TBD that I never saw... And I would like a copy of PPP for Dummies please
  10. Not too bad of a hobby.
  11. Anyone think this thread will get to be as long as the "Ask Time Graham" thread?
  12. Care to link it to me? Just curious Must've been before my time here.
  13. That was my first reaction.
  14. I'm so tempted to create a thread on Trent right now...
  15. Whatever sells tickets?
  16. Your'e right, I AM type casting. But I also have the right to because I'm also Chinese american , with Chinese-born parents moving to the states. And seeing from that video posted by the OP, I can tell you that they seem pretty similar (granted, it's a video...). Some of the major points that they brought up: - They raised him with the mindset that you have to work hard to succeed - Everything that he did growing up, and instituted on him by his parents, was geared towards helping him succeed (ie. the no dating in high school rule, no driver's license, etc...) - Since his parents were athletes on the chinese-olympic team during that era of china where your LIFE was about succeeding and bringing success and glory to your Country - they know the meaning of hard work, and how that correlates to success. Just my thoughts, and what I took away from that video. A bit stereotypical? Of course. But most likely true? Definitely.
  17. His parents would never let him turn into that
  18. Interesting...good find...
  19. There's a couple of big names that are well known for being dirty mother f***ers. But if you REALLY want to go dirty, just hire a bunch of Goldman Sachs execs. They were the ones that negotiated Alex Rodriguez's 10-year $275 million contract (they were 2 Managing Directors, John Mallory and Gerald Cardinale). They're about as greedy and dirty-bag-y as you can get
  20. A well balanced read, providing legitimate and tangible pros and cons. I liked it.
  21. Our team right now is built to run. Chan said we will be utilizing a zone-blocking scheme, a-la denver when Shanahan was there. Not sure what else we will be using in our offense, but that's as far as we know.
  22. From what I saw in the video, Spiller looks like he was able to stay healthy for so long because of the WAY he took hits. He was shifty enough to deflect the majority of the blows on him so that they wouldn't do too much damage. Probably also helped him fumble less
  23. What about this guy? Sounds like the PERFECT possession reciever. WR FREDDIE BARNES, BOWLING GREEN BUZZ: Barnes set an NCAA single-season record with 155 receptions as a senior, for 1,770 yards and 19 TDs. He also had a big season as a sophomore, with 82 receptions in 2007, before suffering through an injury-marred junior season. While Barnes is a physical receiver with great hands and a knack for getting open, his lack of speed is considered a huge hindrance.
  24. This. Except instead of getting rid of Gaddis, I'd get rid of Kelsay in favor of Chris Ellis.
