Pommers scores with 4sec left to tie, win it after 5 rounds of SO 6-5. Nice.
PTR
It WAS nice especially after the sad events in Clarence

They will go this year!!! Players get free tickets!
Yep...as my non Cowboys fan husband always says that the Cowboys will be in the Super Bowl each year. In Section 400 Row T and seats 1-100.

Pick at the wounds ... bastard ...
No....not picking at wounds. Just a left handed dose of praise for the Sabres.
-
Do not get ahead of yourself
Yep...but new small steps for CowgirlsFan.

Great post ...
I say if the Cardials win the toss they elect to get the ball. If Pitt wins they defer.
Yep... I agree. The Steelers will want to be in the same position for the 2nd half as they were against the""Girls"" and the Ravens.

Thanks for the compliment! I can't take TOTAL credit. Sporting News Radio was kicking this around a few nights ago. I guess this compliment helps keep my seat at THE TABLE at the Cafe.

They're ON THE WAR PATH!
Yep....more goals tonight than Bills points against the Niners,Dolphins and Patriots.!!!

This is the first year for this new rule. It will be interesting to see its impact on the game.

It'll just be like Pros vs. Joes: athletic guys who played in college but never parlayed that into a pro career. Sounds like a cool idea for a show and is a great opportunity for some people, but I think it'll be stupid to watch.
It probably will. I just wonder how HBO feels. It has featured Dallas twice in the last few years with their Hard Knocks. Now I get to learn the numeric code for the Spike channel on my TV! At least for a while.

Sorry if re-post.
Check it:
"Two Arizona Cardinals fans hung their team's flag in a tree and burned "Go Cards," "Go Kurt," and "I heart AZ" in McNabb's yard with diesel fuel, Chandler police Sgt. Joe Favazzo said Tuesday."

Some crazy people, wow!
Yep!! A classic example of poor sportsmanship. I feel sorry for the town of Chandler. No athlete should have that happen to them. No matter what and I am a major Dallas Cowboy fan!!

As a former rugby player, I just want to tell you that almost no one in the NFL ever performs a real form tackle. And yes, to answer your question, a real form tackle in no way involves leading with your head. I can confirm this, since in rugby, leading with your head = a broken neck.
In any case, Clark made no attempt to wrap, and used his helmet as a weapon. That's illegal by NFL rules.
It was a sick hit. I did not SEE it but was keeping up on the radio. Those guys were really emotional and painted a dark picture until he began to move his hands and some of his feet. It was great to hear that he was released by 2:00 EST.!!!

It was your reference to "quarters" rather than "periods" that he was laughing at. I heard the Stars fans behind me say the same thing last night. We're still in football mode.
It was so great to pull out a win last night against the home town crowd. When it got to the "shoot out" I was so darned scared it would end up like the "no goal" game and we would be broken hearted in the end. But we left proud and smiling.
Missed you with the Bills Backers group BuffaloBill. I guess you really upgraded if you were sitting right behind the Sabres.
We could hear a lot of "Let's go Buffalo" chanting from all over. It felt great.
Those of us who live so far away miss that...
I have been to been to about 6-8 Dallas Stars games. I am also a Dallas Stars fan since day one. ( sorry guys....a COWBOY fan AND a DALLAS STARS fan ) Last night was a first! I have NEVER seen so many fans from ""the enemy"" come to our place. ( I can't seem to ever match my schedule and the Red Wings ) The atmosphere was off the charts.!!! I believe I heard Let's go Buffalo more than Let's go Stars!!! People would think that our fans were coming off a back to back game as flat as some were. Our guys are having up and downs too. I ride the TRE ( train ) from Arlington and it was Let's go Buffalo on the way over and back!! I could have sat most anywhere BUT chose to sit with all of my Bills Backers that I spent time with at their cafe. I can't wait till you guys can play here more!
-
And that would be bad, why? I wouldn't mind watching a game including Warner, Fitzgerald, Boldin, newly reborn Edge, Breaston and The AFC's best QB this year, Phillip Rivers, LT, Sproles, Gates, Vincent Jackson.
Yeah, that would be terrible. I actually like watching the Cards play, and hope Boldin comes back next week.
Really.....remember this was the team that changed the Bills and my Cowboys season!?!?
-
GOOD POINT!!! After the half, I kept waiting to see that sing in the stands!!!
Sorry guys.... I meant I kept waiting to see that SIGN in the stands!!
-
Yes, he brought in Boldin also. Now Dennis is at home screaming, "See, they are who we thought they were!!!" Winners that is.
GOOD POINT!!! After the half, I kept waiting to see that sing in the stands!!!

He's a FA after this year. Would look good in a Bills suit. Trent could learn a lot backing this guy up.
Yep....as long as he is a better student than Matt Leinhart.
-
Texas State Prison Armordillos
I agree ....and the answer to who will pick him up.....THE FEDS. I do not take full credit on my statement. I heard it on my local sports talk station.
-
Poor ESPN. Another one of their poster boys is unemployed. Now how long before Pac Man shows up on NFL Countdown?
It could be any time. Deion Sanders is a pretty good friend.
-
Eric Mangini named browns Head Coach
Yep. At least he is out of the AFC East!!
-
I don't have a list of who's available but let's consider Trent has not had a veteran to mentor him. I think it would help his game significantly even in year three. The past 2 years all he has had to listen to is JP and that itself drops your QB rating by 15 points.
It sure would be nice if the Bills could sneak Turner Gill in for some private tutoring.
-
I would agree with this. Trent seems to be injury prone. We went from concussion to a groin injury to a sore shoulder.
I agree. Quality backups are a must in the NFL. The quarterback position is even more important.

Jim Leonhard has made some plays today. Coaching and schemes make a difference...
Yes he was very ACTIVE and BUSY today.
-
Jim Leonhard with the pick
He was a very BUSY person today!
-
Me too. Because of what that bastage owner did to the city of Cleveland. Heartbreaking!!
But today I rooted for them.
Yep.!! It is hard to say what is worse. The Art Modell move or the moves Ralph Wilson fails to make.
No more Emmitt Smith on ESPN.

Yes I agree but I hope he does not ride around with Irvin in his car!!
