Not liking the weather report, 30mph winds with gusts to 50. Maybe a little snow. Cold wind chill.

The Jags board was also fun to read.

One thing I'll never be sure of, if Josh Allen subtracts or adds years to my life,🤪

Man was sweating the 4th quarter of the Jags game, if Tannehill took another sack I was gonna strangle him through the TV.

Quick summary of post titles if we miss the playoffs:
Fire everyone!
I’m done with this team. For real this time. (Yet it’ll be a 40 paragraph diatribe).
The refs robbed us.
Allen isn’t the answer.
Beane can’t spot talent.
What’s really wrong at OBD?
What did I miss?
Everything is hunky dory and no changes needed.

I sure as heck was wrong about this guy, wasnt thrilled with giving up a 3rd, because I havent liked Beane trading away 4ths in the first round, but again I was way wrong on this one. Guy is a baller and we havent missed Tre one bit.

This is true.
Sherfield is what he is - a good blocker and ST guy who can play #3 WR. That works only if you have a good #1 and a #2
I just watched the guys Lamar Jackson was throwing to and I don’t see either separation or focus/ability to complete the catch from our guys
Sherfield is nowhere near a #3 reciever. He's a 5 or 6 at best.

Maybe he can consult with Dorsey on how to get Diggs the ball.
-
Von has one less tackle than Josh Norman who has played 3 games.

I still cannot believe this drive ended in 0 points:
All he had to do was dive in....but he went to the goalline straight-up. Dont get hurt Tony.

Von's effort and production is downright embarrassing at this point.

Its pretty amazing the playoff chances are in doubt over just a handful of plays. Jets game Garrett Wilson catch and a punt return, Denver too many men on the field, one Tyler Bass field goal against the Eagles. Its not just every game matters, every play matters.

He once again didn't register a statistic. How low are we setting the bar?

I watched the real sports segment on HBO, Araiza deserves another shot IMHO. When you hear the real facts, it's no wonder his accuser wanted no part of a civil suit when the tables were turned against her.

Loyalty is a 2 way street, when Al chased the big bucks from amazon, I bet the NBC people weren't thrilled. Well he got the money and the less than awesome Thursday night lineup. Now he gets no playoff games, so enjoy the money Al and look forward to next years Panthers/Cardinals game.

I thought Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are the most subdued announcers, both boring. Michaels at least has interesting things to say from time to time and has some voice inflection for certain calls, unlike the aforementioned boring duo. If NBC wants excitement, bring back Gus Johnson.
Joe Buck is a nepo baby. He lost me with his faux outrage on the Randy Moss pretend mooning, you would have thought Moss whipped out his junk or something.

I have said for years, and still maintain, that other than maybe friends & family, absolutely no one tunes in to ANY sports contest because who is announcing the contest. People watch a sports event because: it’s their team (or for golf/tennis, they follow a certain player), it’s a great matchup between 2 good teams (or two good singular athletes), it's the playoffs and great games are expected, or they're betting on the event or player.
The amount of money paid to these announcers is just absolutely mind boggling. There's no need for it. Fans will watch their team, or their favorite player, or a great matchup no matter who is calling it. Conversely, if it's bad teams, or a crap matchup, no one is tuning in because Nance & Romo are calling it.
Great point, never understood the money thrown at these announcers. If its my team or SNF, MNF, or TNF im watching unless its a blowout, announcers have no impact on my decision. Just as what musician does the lead in has no impact on if im watching or not. When I read NBC pays Carrie Underwood a million a game for SNF, I was thinking, you don't have better uses for 17 million? One more point on Al Michaels, I was in high school when he called the miracle on ice, next year Im retiring, again time to give a younger person a shot.

It seems to me that many people these days are having real trouble calling it quits before they’ve past their prime. When you get to a certain stage or age it’s time to move on and let the next generation take these limited spots. I’m all for tradition but you have to look in a mirror.
Could not agree more. The guy is almost 80, has a boat load of money. Give a younger person a chance.

Toney's foot was past the ball. It wasnt one of these helmets in the neutral zone things.

Jesus Andy and Mahomes, they threw the flag rightly before you passed it, what do you expect them to pick it up if the result of the play was good after the penalty was committed. Whiney bastards.
