  1. I remember watching Sean Payton on Fox sports after the 13 second game explaining how the Bills botched the D with playing outside contain (guarding the sidelines) prevent D.   There was no reason to worry about the sidelines with the chiefs having 2 timeouts.  As I said before was coaching malpractice.

The D talent and playoff play is a big issue. And they recognized that and pushed to change it this year. But the 13 seconds problem was McD letting Frazier call the play and not overruling him. I think by playoff time this year, the D will be what is needed to get past KC, Ravens, etc. We better have a way to stop the Eagles though.

I dont absolve McD for 13 seconds, hes the head coach, the buck stop with him.  We have never truly got answers on that fiasco other than "miscommunication" for the KO and execution.     It was just terrible from the KO to the D.

Your one of those guys that won't give credit if we win the SB.

I want a SB win before I die as much as anyone. But logic says, replacing McD now, doesn't get us one.

If the Bills win the superbowl i will be there downtown to celebrate.   I will spend freak money on SB champ merchandise.   I will be unbearable to my Steeler friend fans down here in PA.    Im just old enough to know franchise QBs dont come around too often.  Kelly was drafted in 1983, Josh 35 years later in 2018. The time to win it is now.   My lying eyes tell me Josh and the offense can get it done, the problem, consistently in the playoffs falls on the D.  McD was a D coordinator, to me he's the problem.   Josh's playoff stats are awesome.    The D, in the playoffs comes up small, repeatedly.

Highly disagree. McDermott gets more out of his players than any Bills coach in recent memory. He’s most definitely a top 10 coach. Don’t believe me ? Then see how long he lasts on the open market.

Marty Shottenheimer got 2 gigs after Cleveland, still never got to the SB.   Good coach, not a great coach.   Pointing out McD would get another job after Buffalo changes nothing in my mind that he cant get us to the promised land.

Regardless of SB wins McD is currently a top 10 coach. A SB appearance gets him in the top 5. A SB win puts him in the hall of fame.

Bills fans will never be fully happy without the SB win. Me included. But we all know, that if we win the SB this year, at the moment McD and Allen are hosting up the Lombardi; the negative Nancys on here will say the need to win again next year or it means nothing!

OMG in what world are you living.   If McD won the superbowl they will name streets after him and he will coach here for life.

  6. I will say it until we move on from him, he is Marty Shottenheimer.   I dont need to keep seeing groundhog day to know how it ends.  It ends 2-3 steps short of the goal.   13 seconds showed me he's not the sharpest tool in the shed.    i've said it before it was coaching malpractice, and that was with a TV timeout to prepare for the final plays.  Everything you shouldn't of done, he did, from the KO to playing outside contain prevent D.   It's always his side of the ball specialty that comes up small in big moments.    I dont want to see 10 years of our defense getting pushed around in the playoffs.    Eagles stopped the Chiefs 9 times in the superbowl, McD has done it 9 times in 4 playoff games.   It can be done, just this guy cant do it.  I think Reid/Spags vs McD is a serious mismatch.

By my account there are 9 games either night or 4:25 start that would be on national TV, plus may get a couple of 1:00 games shown in your  area, so probably paying for more like 5 games.  I'm in same boat.  I'm in the same boat, besides the Bills games, there was maybe a handful of other games I watched, but if they weren't available and didn't see them, wouldn't be a big difference so not going to likely pay for it to watch so few games. Give me the discount like you're giving new subs or at least $100 off and I'll likely take it.

As you and promo pointed out, AI says the Bills will be on nationally at least 9 games, Im in the AFC central market so I wont get as many as promo.   But it shows the ridiculousness of the pricing.   375 bucks for the other 8 Bills games, is 46.87 for each of the other 8 Bills games.  I love football, I'll watch the three games on Sunday, the Monday nighter and Thursday.   I dont give a crap that you get every game, I cant watch them all.   I dont care if the Jets are playing Carolina or the Giants are playing Seattle, etc.   It would be like buying a new car and having to pay for a bunch of options you dont want.  I also hate when companies treat their existing customers worse than new customers.   Heck even the phone companies have been moving away from that.  I just retired, Im so glad teachers and professors who probably make more than me will be paying less.   Im truly torn, but Im leaning without any discount I'll record the Bills replay when it comes on NFL network during the week.   At this point it's a matter of principle at balking at the 375 price.

  8. Maybe our NFL overlords can introduce  PVLs, personal viewing licenses so you can pay for the right to buy Sunday ticket in the future in order to increase revenue.

  9. It is approaching a level I don't want to pay.   I'm probably like a lot of people who do Sunday ticket, a out of towner ex Buffalo person, I want it just to watch the Bills.  In a 17 game season, if the Bills are on national tv 6 games, that basically means I'm paying 375 for 11 Bills games which is over 34 bucks a game.   That's getting pretty steep in my book, almost approaching a ppv fight.  I do fantasy football, but i don't need to see every score in real time so I don't care about redzone, the crawl on the bottom of the tv will pretty much update you in real time on who scored.  Maybe these gambling addicts need a 4 box screen to keep a real time eye on all their bets, but I don't think that's the average fan.

If there are 4 games on Sunday, one on Monday and one on Thursday, there isn't a lot of other premium games I want to watch.

Just my humble opinion, but the greed is getting out of control.  Lastly as a returning subscriber who's not in one of the discount groups, well, that sucks too.

Andy Reid got fired because he got pegged as the guy who couldn't win the big one

He had absolutely insane rosters for years which were absolutely good enough to win the super bowls and he didn't which is why he was fired

Players and coaches grow... Andy Reid is not foolproof.. I have seen him get out coached with my own eyes before

You just have never seen McD out coach him in a playoff game.
