  1. A prediction? A prediction? Seriously? When you have zero leverage? Hell nah. I've had mine for months. I'll be nice. I'll stick with my high-res photo, and you can keep your jumbled mess.

Fair enough you are right. You keep your “Months old” high res version and you can be known as the nice, pretty one afraid of a challenge, I'll be the scrappy one that had the idea first who steps up with an occasional thoughtful post when I have some intellect to offer to the forum...

Later… oh and most importantly, Go Bills.

  2. Haha... nice. Well, I joined earlier and post more often, so I should get it. Then again, I'm not sure you want the same avatar. I tend to post some dumb sheeeit. First one to 600 posts gets it.

funny... i don't undersand your negotiating leverage. ~25 thoughful posts would outweigh any number of irrelivant or non vlaue added posts.... tough to compare a quantity to a quality.

how about a prediction with a wager. Is your fanhood up for it?

  3. great post!

Bills fans.... they are great poeple....

one more... goo good dolls at Blind Melons. before they were any more than a garage band

  4. Let me ask you a question.

Would you consider Lee Evans as one of the best players on this team, even while we don't get him the ball much because he is being covered by almost the entire defense?

    Fair question.

All I am getting at is the unilatteral declation that TO is the best player on the team, is hard to support until the guy has proven anything in a buf jersey.

"One" of the best is a lot different then "the" best. And in my opinion, I have considered Lee the best reciever on the team for the past few years based on his production and i hope that would be the case again this year. I am not sure what the "best player on the team" argument buys but, I'll bite....

  5. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1...75-6712597a035a

I say it will be Whitner playing at the FS spot. I expect a Pro Bowl season out of the guy this year. He reminds me of a young Brian Dawkins. Hopefully, he turns out to be a player the caliber of him as well.

For some reason I feel like McKelvin is going to make some plays this year. In the limited reps at corner last year, he seemed to show some flashes of ability to get around the ball. As he is young with little exposure, and McGee has been IMO pretty solid (except for against chambers :-) ), I suspect he will have the opportunities with more balls coming his way.

  6. Yes, and it's not even close.

    How can you say otherwise?

Not true. TO is unquestionably the most accomplished player on the team. However, he has done nothing to prove he is the best anything on THIS team yet. I am not really sure how you can even compare different positions and determine a “Best player” on a team….

He was also one of the most accomplished players on Dallas, but i don't think he was the best. AND NO this was not intended to have some dipwad to compare Dallas' talent level to the Bills....

  7. Just the thought of this is exciting. I don't know how I feel about it from a football standpoint but we haven't had a guy with his swagger in a long long long time. Very Entertaining!

I struggle to believe his ability is worth the dysfunctionality he brings to the locker room. Can Dick control him?

  8. RB seems like one of the few spots with enough depth and talent. Our RB was the one Bill that played in Honolulu and Jackson looks solid too...

I would expect to see the visit headliners consist of a TE, DE, nose tackle, center, OLB, ILB, right tackle, tall WR or even veteran QB, but a RB?

WTF are they doing? I can't wrap my puny brain around it...

  9. OK... Won't pretend to be the football genius or Monday morning quarterback. But I have a simple observation to toss by the wall here for discussion sake...

The Defense is good. 12th in the league by ESPN's ranking....

    - DJ is a Defensive guy in my estimation based on what he did in Chi town, and the defense went from second worst in the league to better than average…

    - The line is one of the bigger lines in the NFL.

    - Bills have 2 good tough runners that can pound the rock inside

Turk-ball seems to favor throwing first and running second, relying on your inexperienced QB's and undersized receivers that don't seem to get separation very well.

Why? I long for the offense where they run on first and second down, throw on third. With this line and these backs, this kind of basic football, running to set up the pass (giant football) seems to make more sense. Even K gun thrived off TT's running. Remember when there were many consecutive seasons where you could bank on it, if Thurman rushed for 100, the bills had a W. If they could establish the run, it set up the team for success... now it seems like they dig a hole, and then resort to the run... can that be?

I noted in at least two games this year after getting burned by early QB turn-overs, they buckled down and got more conservative and actually moved the ball far better...

    Am I off here??

  10. Trent and most of the Bills players have no idea what a good NFL coach is like.

And bills FANS do? I say that as a Bills fan. I thought Jauron would have been a good coach after the levy endorsement, he has not been, Never liked wade Phillips but he has done OK in Dallas, thought Malarkey might be OK in the beginning but he also failed miserably......

So who is the right choice? Marty "Choke"nheimer? i hear that name bandied about... mooch? don't know

  11. If I remember correctly, Levy actually said he had Cutler rated higher than Leinart. That's why a house-cleaning is needed in the organization. Too many people married to the losing decisions of the past. Look at Parcells and Miami. He didn't let Beck preclude him from getting Pennington and drafting Henne.

The retrospective scenarios are easy pictures to paint and completely irrelevant and inconsequential.

If you can take your hindsight and convert it into a draft strategy for this spring that actually offers any stimulating discussion as well as foresight then post away my man..

  12. Remember Major league? Suck so much that the franchise loses value..... That MUST be what is going on. It is the newfound explanation my battered delusional fanhood fabricated as part of a coping mechnism...

Suck .... like a lot. Start strong then really blow chunks. When you are in danger of a big win, put the game in the hands of Just Lose man

Throw up a stinker in Toronto in front of potential suitors

As the franchise continues to lose value plummets and either

    1. The inheritance liability handed off is an impaired asset

    Or

    2. Only the likes of a sick and twisted bills fan"atic", who would certainly keep it in buffalo, would consider buying the team and see the intrinsic value that only true bias can warrant.

That it, my twisted rationalization for why, once more we have to endure the desperate and failed attempts at mediocrity. This explanation is the type of reason I am looking for to justify why I continue to support this team. Any other thoughts to help substantiate this fantasy are appreciated!!!!

  13. Agreed. It would be a good problem to have. Typically, I think you go with the hot hand. So, I can see your point about it depending upon how we win - because of JP or because of the defense. Of course, some people think the QB's play somehow effects the defense's play; but lets not worry about that till the post game.

It will be interesting to see Jauron squirm with the answer, though. I really hope JP proves everyone wrong and earns Offensive Player of the week Honors.

JP losman offensive player of the week? For miami?

  14. I bet we see a 60+ yard TD pass to Evans :P

I agree a big 60 to 80 yard touchdown pass to Evans down the left sideline, It JP's best and only play. Additional stats include 3 for 21, 5 sacks, 2 int's and a fumble.

It always hurts to be a Bills fan, but this season has been the worst in recent memory because we were cruelly conned into hoping. I hope for all of our sakes we find an offense next year. Hull, Ritcher and wolford must be able to get into game shape by august right?
