  1. High of 70 in beautiful Anchorage today. Sunny no humidity or wind. OH thats right this is a frozen wasteland No one but a nut would live here.
  2. My point is it was a cooked up charge that was not backed in fact[ ohh they bought AR-15's- they surly must be converting to full auto" ] It was all a politically fired monster from Clinton-he thought by going after "machine gun owners" and "weird religion's groups" he would appease his backer's. So 76 dead to advance his cause. Good show, mr president.
  3. If you can tell the difference between a hell fire [legal] and a full auto your ears are better then mine. The point is the rabidly anti gun Clinton justice department was looking for any gun crime, even if they had to make them up. And frankly if they where converting to full auto so what? Where they threating anyone? It was a BS call from a attention seeking agency.
  4. I had no idea the left hated fox this much. Good job
  5. MAY have been? There was ZERO proof of any illegal guns. The whole foundation of the warrant was that they bought LEGAL GUNS and they MIGHT have converted them to full auto. You could raid half the homes in the country on those grounds.
  6. Driving a tank firing tear gas cannisters though the wall of a wooden building would be a hell of a place to begain the fire investigation agree? You brought this up with your objection to cops having armored vehicles, yet you defend Waco? Of course it was never figured out. With the full weight of the President backing his Attorney General, did you really expect a honest analysis?
  7. So you agree they had no real idea what was going on but you are OK with burning the building to the ground?
  8. yes sir kill 76 men women and children on a vague weapons charge[no evidence they ever used them, or intended to] but BATF ships guns to Mexico to prove America is the cause of Mexico's drug violence? And forgets to track them? Pick a new champion.
  9. And how do you feel about Waco? This will be interesting. I assume from your posts [and I am open to correction] you would aprove a Clinton/Reno action.
  10. Not hard at all to imagine where a armored vehicle would be necessary to a negotiating team in a armed standoff. Particularly if communication is by loud speaker. Are they going to stand in the road? It's not as if it was armed with M2s. It's just protection.
  11. Really? I saw signs of a slave underground borg mining camp.
  12. And here I laughed at the "save the whales" crowd...
  13. If I could spent every January and Febuary boating around the sea of Cortez I'd be rather good natured myself.
  14. Actually it's quite hysterical a flaming lib like Dave would bring up the trans Continental railroad. Is endorsing the goverment giving land to corperations AND providing troops to kill the resisting natives part of his goverment knows best handbook?
  15. I don't think he fully understands who actually built the railroad. Apparently he thinks it was a government project. Missing the fact UP and CP where paid by the mile of track laid [bonds, land]. The whole produce and be rewarded thing seems to miss him.
  16. What if you agree with him because he IS black? Is that racist? GG and Booster need to make the call.
  17. Vic Morrow is much cooler then Chuck Nor-ass, BTW.
  18. If you mean the trans Continental railroad the Government MADE money on that. Maybe because it actually needed, not some pipe dream electric car?
  19. Ah the old "I inherited 8 years of mismanagement" line. Code break- It's all Bush. Well he has 4 years, and it goes beyond taxes. The economy is in a large part driven by confidence in the future, and this joke of a "president" is killing that. Look you scored big time. Class B Illinois hack elected president. Now go away and let someone who cares run the country.
  20. As we STILL wait for that Iraq oil bonanza to benefit US oil company's. left attention span< one day.
  21. I notice " I think gays are wonderful, that proves I'm enlightened" Esmonde loves it- Things are up
  22. No. I don't wonder at all that he would be getting less heat from Republicans on Libya if he was a Republican. Thats to be expected. What I do wonder about is your implied thought that McConnell by wishing to replace Obama is directing a conspiracy to intentionally tank the country to achieve that end. OB is doing very well on his own and yes my number one priority would also be to replace him. Start at the top. Makes sense to me.
  23. Seems like a good cause to me. And they vote along party lines? Shocking. Must be a vast right wing conspiracy all right.
