I would only offer a 3rd pick due to it being a deep draft for WR and his big contract. I would want to improve the OL in free agency as a priority.
And when they say no do you offer more? The Bills could really use him and a 4 year contract at 10 million a year is reasonable.

I would have been willing to fully guarantee the one year contract and bud a little hight than Sesttle. I think he would have been a great help to Allen next year

Crazy that the Ravens top the list. You’d think they’d at least have the hardest in their division.
The other teams in the division play the 14-2 Ravens twice.

Something that jut occurred to me as I was looking at the patriots draft picks .. if we can sign him to a reasonable deal great .. but if the price gets too high .. we will end up with a nice compensatory draft pick. The smart teams have been taking advantage of this system for years. Let a guy walk for high money .. don't pay the money and get a draft pick on a cheap contract for nothing. The not so smart teams overpay and get into cap hell .. looking at you Rams. let's be a smart team.
You dont get comp picks when you have 90 million to spend in free agency. If you franchise tag him then extend players you might get a comp pick for him when he leaves a year from now.

If the Bills want to keep him.....
Just work out a deal and don't mess with the Franchise Tag.
Its not worth it.
What if they would like his services for one more season but don't want to lock him up long term?

Isn't it like 15mil for D Tackles?
I'd pass unless a tag and trade was worked out
With 90 million in cap space they could easily take on the 15 million then part ways with him at the end of the season. 15 million does sound like a lot of money though.
-
He was going to be back anyways so lowering the base while making next season fully guaranteed makes sense.
-
I'm hoping they sign Conklin and move Ford to LG. I think the Bills line would be really good next season with those 2 changes. It is very rare that a young pro bowl tackle becomes available in free agency. It would be a great use of cap space.

If I was Mahomes I wouldn't accept any contract that wasnt fully guaranteed.

This is a really bad take. There is nothing a DB can do. Both the receiver and DB run fast down the field then all of a sudden the receiver stops and goes in the opposite direction. If you turn around when chasing the receiver you will get beat every time.

Underthrown passes should not be called for pass interference.

I want the chiefs to win but I dont want Sammy Watkins to contribute at all to the victory.

Completely agree.

I'm guessing this game determines if Andy Reid makes the Hall of Fame.

Competed, yes; but we would have lost in the end, just like we did to Baltimore, New England, and Houston.
I agree. Hopefully their 90 million in cap space allows them to close the gap.

The Bills could have competed with these teams.

Kyler Murray???????????????????? Are you ***** kidding me?
Why not? In my opinion it was either him or one of the offensive lineman.

I agree with Deion Sanders - it is becoming the hall of good/great. Zach Thomas is certainly not a HOFer, not once in his career did I say man he is amazing
Zach Thomas was a 5 time first team all pro. He deserves to be in the hall of fame.

I really wouldn't love this... Would much rather throw a stack at Jack Conklin and put Ford at Guard.
I was thinking the same things. I think it would be better for our line to sign Conklin and move Ford to LG.

Thuney will be a FA. #2 ranked guard this year.
Projected 5 yrs $75M with $33.9M guaranteed....that’s a lot of $ for an IOL.
The NFL is changing. Building from the middle out is becoming more and more popular.

Please check in here if you believe Tasker should be in and Eli shouldn’t.
its call a homer test.
I think Tasker is more deserving.

He’d be a solid addition. I don’t expect Cooper or Green to hit the market. I don’t want Robby Anderson. Perriman will also cost less than any of those guys, and maybe even half as much as Anderson.
How does Green not hit the market? He wont get the franchise tag and doesnt want to be a Bengal.
-
He was slightly above average in my opinion and should not be in the Hall of Fame. I don't think he should even make the cut to 25. He will get voted in however, because of the Giants 2 Super Bowl wins.
