I see constant complaints around here with regard to the supporting cast. I believe there is plenty of blame to go around here and it should start with Beane. There has been no true effort to try and find a No. 2 receiver since John Brown left. However, Dawson Knox is making an obscene amount of money for a guy who is essentially interchangeable with about 20 other TEs in the league based on what he actually provides. This reeks of a signing that was Allen driven based on their relationship. Star players that want power and a say in personnel decisions should also thus inherit responsibility. Where does everyone fall on this? Those are critical resources that could have been used elsewhere..
Not sure if Josh insisted on that deal, but I didn't think Knox deserved that kinda deal based on his play.

When did this become a qualifier? Most of the people who criticize anyone haven't done that thing. Most of the people who criticize my field haven't done it. Most people who criticize the President haven't been President. Does that mean we can't assess whether or not they are doing a good job? Certainly doesn't seem to stop anyone. Media or not.
I know I hang on Cris Collinsworth and Tony Romo's every word. They played football after all.
And if it's Dorsey they need to fire the offensive quality control people too because self scouting is their job. If the league figured out the offense they should be seeing it. But then again what do I know about football.
I also tend to agree with Dan, I think there have been a decent amount of batted passes by our own WRs that turned into INTs. Not mentioning Josh's highest completion % season ever so far. But moreover, even though my post wasn't serious, I didn't say non-experienced people couldn't analyze or opine on things, I'm just pointing out that not many former players are haters of his, most of them are non-players, and I put more weight into analysis from folks who have the closest, most relevant experience. From a higher level pov, I'm pointing out how many people will just buy into a narrative without stopping and thinking.

Too much negativity these days. Things are still more positive than 2001-2018. You know what's ironic about most of Josh's haters in the media? They never played football.
The stage is set. Mahomes, Saleh, Brady, Rodgers, Burrow, Chris Jones, and the list goes on, they all know Josh is an elite QB and many have reiterated that this week. Pressure makes diamonds. The stage is set for Josh to play the best game of his career.
My serious prediction: Josh throws for 6 TD's, runs for 1 TD, and zero interceptions. Will be beautiful fall weather for a great kickoff time.
Go Bills!

I thought McD would evolve from a DC into a pure philosophical head coach like Phil Jackson, but I don't think he will based on this year.

Same. Nothing they're going to say is going to be breaking news anyway. Sean's coaching ability and ceiling have been increasingly debated among fans the last few years.

This is a good descriptor.

The thing about McDermott is it sort of becomes like the chicken or the egg analogy, McD does deserve credit for being head coach when we broke the playoff drought and four consecutive playoff appearances, and three AFC East championships. But in tough games, he often makes questionable game management decisions, and he's constantly competing with the Andy Reid's of the NFL now, so it shows up more in those tight games. There are some certain types of coaches in the NFL who just have that experience McD doesn't have or can't make up so quickly. There are also many who don't have his record too.

I think a key factor in all of this is the week before the game the Dolphins put up 70 and were talking out of their *** on their travels to Buffalo, saying the fanbase ain't **** and it's just another game.

I've been here since then, albeit through a few different servers and one account change. SDS has always been the same and he's always made me feel part of the community, even as a kid from Mississippi rooting for the Bills over 1,000 miles away. Cool dude for sure.

Hard to read through 10 pages but I would say this:
Gabe Northern's and the 98/99 Bills defensive player celebrations where they flicked their wrists. I bumped into Gabe at a LSU alumni event once and asked him about that. It was something from a music video around that time, but the Bills had the only players doing it, which obviously left a burning question in me.

I think this is all: the Bills gave Diggs a lot of space, now he's back and they're just hashing out frustrations he has, which I believe are rightfully so. I'm curious how the next 24 hours go. And I remind myself make up sex is the best sex. 🏆🏆🏆
If Diggs wanted out, he wouldn't have waited this long and he wouldn't have made himself present in the building. To me, the fact he did make himself shows they just need to simply address some things and get on the same page, which they appear to be working on. I'm fine with giving him some of that autonomy, I really am, because I do believe he's the best WR in the league. Last year I kept repeating that and everyone kept coming after me with replies about Cooper Kupp even though Kupp was putting up less than Gabe Davis numbers. I have Bickering Bills vibes with this and let's all look forward to the makeup sex. 😇 Have a beer, smoke some lettuce, and enjoy the weather. The Bills still won 13 games last year with all the bs.
-
Seems like the Bills gave him some space and hoped for the best all offseason without any real communication. If he was in the building yesterday or today for physicals or whatever, McD would have said that.
-
Over 10 pages of replies and I'm the only guy with the beer emoji? It's definitely offseason here.

Who is Emanuel Acho and why does he matter??
He's a schtick. He still thinks Tua is the best QB in the NFL and Justin Herbert is overrated.

In all respect (simp warning!), Britt was definitely wife material. The fact Josh didn't tie the knot with her as supportive as she was, but kept her front and center, made it seem like they were headed for that. If he did make a mistake as crazy as the rumor is, IMO it's a serious mistake on his part and one that seems completely out of character. 99.9% of the women I know or see on social from Buffalo seemed to like her and they dated for 7 years, so this will be different if they did break up, 7 years together is a long time. And by all indications, she's mostly scrubbed him from her platform. So I'm still indifferent on this until we know more. K bye!

Damn, Josh breaks up with a girl and next thing you know the Bills are selling the team.

Well, hopefully the baby (if any) and its mama gets appropriately supported. If all this was going on last fall around Halloween/Nov as the Reddit tealeaves claim, baby should be showing up in the next couple months (late May-June)
I'm not condoning cheating. I do remember an interview with a famous woman singer who had a relationship with a star musician for a while. She said "one thing I never expected was fidelity; they get so many opportunities". I mean there's Josh flying home at 2 am and there's a young woman holding up a sign "Josh Allen Will You CreamPie Me?"
FWIW Williams was still posting pics of them after the playoff win vs. Miami and posting messages after the Bengals loss. https://people.com/sports/who-is-brittany-williams-josh-allen/
On the other hand, I seem to remember in his interview the next day, one of the reporters asked if he planned to train with Jordan Palmer and Allen said something about "I don't know if I'll be going to California" which I thought at the time was kind of weird since he has a house out there.
And then he posted several stories training with Palmer a few weeks ago. Even posted stories with his kids.
This is why all this is just nonsense.
