We get Carl Cheffers crew...if I am not mistaken wasn't that the crew that allowed KC to mug our WRs in the AFCCG?
Believe he called the season opener against the Rams too

Is there anyone who watches football that doesn't love watching Allen play?
Maybe Bengals fans? 😜

Just three more wins and we get a Super Bowl trophy.

One of the adversities I think is overlooked about this season is that Poyer 15-hour drive to KC. Besides the emotional adversities like the shooting, Knox's brother, and countless others, it just goes to show you it's hard to throw anything at this team they can't overcome. It'd be nice from here on out it gets easier somehow, they have paid their dues and deserve it.

Doctors haven't cleared him to play unless that's a new development today. He even said so in his interview last week.
He was in no-contact red last week in practice. If he's still in red this week, that's about as clear an indication as any he's probably not playing this week either.
Listening to it again, sounds like Shady is saying Hyde told him that when Shady was there for the Patriots game.

Chris simms has always been a joke but nobody really cared because he likes josh 😂
You wonder what new excuses he and Nick Wright will invent if Josh has stellar games the next 3 games.

About 4:15 minute mark into the interview, Shady casually mentions Hyde told him he might play this week, I know McD said in his presser Hyde wouldn't play this week. Also Poyer mentions Kim Pegula's "thing". Poyer's a good teammate and I hope we find some way to keep him next year.

Yes...I haven't seen it before from them. It was a brilliant wrinkle from them.
Do you believe some of the media labeling Allen this generation's Brett Favre is fair?

He will not realize it because most of the checkdowns were his legs. Once again, not sure how many times it has to be said. Allen had gaping holes to run through and 20+ yards easily several times. The Fins almost baited him into it and then shut the hole as he tried to run through it. At least 3 of their "sacks" were him trying to run up the middle and pick up huge yards. That was the old Daboll move against heavy man coverage teams. Everyone go deep, no checkdowns, Allen takes off and gets huge chunks.
Fins were ready for it, credit to them.
Is this something new they threw at him compared to the last two times we've played them? I do remember when he would step up in the pocket it would look like he had a lot of room in front of him only to see it collapse as soon as he decided to take off. Also even with Skylar Thompson I expected the game to be potentially close like the previous two times.

We don't need a billboard and the idea is ludicrous. That being said, my message to the team after overcoming as much as they have this season would simply be this:
WE DIDN'T COME THIS FAR TO F*** IT UP! NOW GO GET YOUR SUPER BOWL!
-
To me the biggest problem was we got out of rhythm and when that happened, Josh was too amped up. The momentum switched when Shakir dropped that pass and Miami followed up with that nice return. Josh then lost his composure a bit and he doesn't do that often. The two INT's weren't his fault, one was where it was supposed to be, Smoke just stopped on the route for whatever reason, could be a new play to him and he was confused. The other INT was right in the hands of Beasley and it was batted up in the air. Just like our 3 regular season losses, we tend to beat ourselves at times but in most cases we find a way to win.

If we win and play Cincy next week, Hyde is needed on the field badly.Agreed and after listening to his presser yesterday, I think he comes back that game. Seems like he asked to meet with his doctor to see if he could give it a go as we entered the playoffs and his doctor said okay as long they cautiously monitor it and stay in constant communication.

If Hyde is cleared for Cincy that would be great!

Typical salty Pats fan but pays his respects to the Bills and Allen. I enjoyed every second of it. Thanks for sharing.

I'd rather save that capital to hopefully re-sign Poyer.

Could be Hyde, could be Crowder, could be Kim, could be nothing. Aren't you all excited to wait and see if we even find out?

They didn’t play the game they were most likely to lose. This thread gets an asterisk. Can't even let him have this thread?? Bills fans never catch a break.

The biggest thing that holds him back, and has every year he's played, is he averages only catching 50% of passes thrown his way.
-
We just need to play sound football. Our losses and bad play have 100% been from us beating ourselves. Stop dumb penalties and turnovers and we'd be 17-0 right now.

I'm not scared of the Dolphins, Bengals, or Chiefs. I'm scared of us beating ourselves.

This is such incredibly great news. Talking with two of my friends, one a neuroscientist and the other a neurosurgeon, the odds of even a decent recovery were slim. Incredible update and hopefully he continues to improve.

The Ringer: Josh Allen Needs to Chill

My thought is a lot of these sports media analysts who have never credited Josh’s development are often times clinging emotionally to a last stand. If we win on Sunday it’ll be interesting to see what new excuses they develop even though Burrow has never thrown for more than 2 TDs in games against KC and Josh has done it in every game against KC.
