I agree Lynch is our best option near the goal line and in short yardage. I think he WAS dinged for that part of the game, or he would have been in there. Take away those three goal-line rushes where Lynch should have been in there, and Jackson is 7 for about 40. You can do that math, I'm sure. And most of that was in long-yardage situations; he should have gotten more opportunities to do that.

I have to agree with this 100%. We have to play a gimpy corner because our staff can't trust McKelvin to cover Ted Ginn. Ted Ginn! Hardy has made ONE play in seven games, can't catch on the run and has alligator arms. Ellis, he was active for the first time all season today, right? What for? I didn't see his number called much if at all. I'm not expecting these guys to light up the league. I am asking them to make a play here and there. Hardy's TD is basically the sum total of this draft class's contributions so far. 20 years ago, that would have been fine. Not in today's NFL.

I had a Dolphin fan friend tell me after the game that his happiest moment was when we stopped calling Jackson's number. Take it for what it's worth. They couldn't stop him.

We were sitting way up in 334 and saw the same thing. Pretty loud. But the weird thing is it happened a few seconds AFTER the scoreboard, PA, and then the lights went out.

They tailgate well and are pretty classy, dedicated fans. I went about 12 years ago for a preseason game (!) -- I was in town visiting my grandfather -- and the place was absolutely packed, a sea of red. I understand why visiting teams have a hard time there. But visiting fans should be okay. I did get flipped off by a middle-aged woman while walking through the parking lot. I gave her the old Scottie Norwood "get that tomahawk chop out of here" gesture back.

I'd rather get blown out like this. By the end of the game I've already made my peace and moved on. The five stages go quickly in a blowout. By contrast, I still haven't gotten through the anger stage from the Cowboys game.

And it was just one game... on the road... against an NFC team... and we have the bye to rest up and get pissed.

And a bad day comes to a bad close as Hardy doesn't even leave his feet in the end zone.
