  1. Jones has to catch that.
  2. The slipping is ridiculous. You'd think they could have fixed that this week with new footwear.
  3. Not a single finger laid on Brady in that drive.
  4. Fred and Bob together might crack the 100-IQ level. Maybe. And Fred wouldn't be much help.
  5. The Onion was funny ten years ago.
  6. Fred's Boston roots have always trumped his time here in Buffalo. I laughed when he said last year that he was considering moving here to run for Congress. All his opponent would have to do is play clips of him dissing the Bills and polishing the Pats'* knobs.
  7. All jokes aside, you do all remember what Wilfork did to JP, right?
  8. Brady back to pass Sees no one except for this: Ninety-nine in blue.
  9. This. Also, before Spygate: 3 Super Bowl victories. After Spygate: 0 Super Bowl victories, with the only appearance coming in the same year Spygate was uncovered. The Brady lovefest here is pretty sickening. Brady has had WAY more help, and WAY better coaching, than Marino ever had in Miami, yet I find it impossible to believe that people would have been lining up here to polish Marino's knob if there had been an internet back then.
  10. After the game, I told my eight-year-old son -- who weighs 100 pounds and whom I picked up and helicoptered around the room after each of the last three touchdowns and the win, much to the delight of the makers of Advil -- that "this is how it used to be." "Dad, this is better than that!" I started to disagree with him, and then my wife said, "He's right, because now you have him to share it with." I have tears in my eyes just typing that. My son has been a die-hard since he was four and last year I was actually almost apologizing to him for making him a Bills fan. Now, I can honestly say.... I'm glad he is.
  11. Judging by how often I heard his name during the game today, I thought Tommy might actually have been sitting in Oakland waiting for the Bills "to come here and deal with us now."
  12. It was blocked.
  13. Both of these guys have done a great job not just in finding and exploiting talent, but also in getting rid of the deadwood. Just think: in the 18 months or so since taking over, they've said goodbye to Marshawn Lynch, Trent Edwards, Lee Evans, Kawika Mitchell, Paul Posluszny, Donte Whitner and Aaron Maybin. Now, I don't have the figures, but I'm betting these were seven of the nine or so top jersey sellers of the preceding year or two. High draft choices all, except for Mitchell who was a free agent signee. All gone - replaced largely by players who were lower draft picks and/or had something to prove. The talent level increased, and so did the heart. Color me impressed.
  14. Nine on the goal line. Rush two.
  15. Do not !@#$ this up. Remember Dallas and Tennesee.
  16. Way to kill momentum, NFL.
  17. Not to mention the decision to take the other FG
  18. Our offense has to be like Cerrano in Major League. "!@#$ you, defense. I do it myself."
  19. !@#$ this defense.
