  1. You don't think we should re-up on Macarthur? He seems to have a knack for finding the back of the net, and it's not as if he would cost us that much. Also, Lydman has one year left on his contract, and has been our best defenseman on many accounts (aside from his frustrating giveaways).
  2. If it's anything less than a Cadillac, he is lying through his teeth!
  3. Yeah, we match up quite well with Boston, and actually lead the season series against them this year 3-2.
  4. No, they aren't eliminated yet. If..... Sabres finish 3-0 (Leafs, Canes, Bruins) Rangers finish 0-2 (Flyers, Flyers) Panthers finish 1-1 (Thrasher, Capitals) So yes, it is highly unlikely...but crazier things have happened.
  5. Well, he might add some curry flavor.
  6. I am an a**hole, and a c**ks**ker (in the vernacular, not literally).
  7. It ain't politics, it ain't polls, it ain't pundits.
  8. I'm with ya Romeo. The way that we, as a society, approach "evil" is very 1984. Oceania is at war with Eastasia. Eurasia is our ally. Oceania is at war with Eurasia. Eastasia is our ally. We've been conditioned into thinking the Muslim faith is to blame for all the violence in the Middle East, when in fact it is a myriad of social issues. Christians, in the same situation, would be more prone to atrocities too.
  9. What the hell are you even trying to imply here? That Obama hates Jewish people? You are a real piece of work.
  10. Read the above quote from Bad Lieutenant, the Italian PM says he doesn't want ANY aid at all, so this won't be taken as an insult.
  11. Yeah, I know...I personally love the guy as a player. I think that most people hate on him because the media loves to verbally fellate him, and he seems to get favorable calls from the referees more often than not. Neither of those things is his fault though, so what's the point in hating on him?
  12. Role Models, Coincidentally I just watched that movie yesterday. I thought it was absolutely hilarious. Even Sean William Scott was pretty good. Jane Lynch, who the quote comes from, is one of the funniest women in comedy today.
  13. They're stupid and they're kooky Hilarious and doopy They're altogether loopy The Palin family! snap snap
  14. However, the most important thing is familiarity. I've been using these bad boys since I first started playing the game 10 years ago, and I know them like the back of my hand. If I'm on the fringe of the green, there's no club I'd rather have in my hand than my trusty 7 iron (and we all know the short game is most important). As for distance, I get a solid 260 out of my driver. Would I get 285 with a better one? Maybe, but I honestly doubt it would improve my score that much. Besides, I don't play competitively anymore. So what if I drop a stroke here or there because of distance? I like my clubs, they treat me well, that's what's important. I suspect I'd struggle at this point with "better" clubs.
  15. please, I can't afford any of that stuff. My clubs are 15 year old hand me downs from my half-brother, and I almost exclusively use shag balls from the clubhouse at the local public course (except on my birthday when I get a nice big pack of Pro V1s). Equipment doesn't make a golfer any better or any worse. I'm a 6 handicap, and I'd be a 6 handicap with "fancy" stuff. I used to get ribbed by the guys on my high school golf team, but I'd shut em all up when I outscored 'em. When I feel like actually spending legit money on golf, I do it by playing at a nice course.
  16. Well I've never used a caddie either. In fact, most golfers never do. And frankly, I don't understand why professional golfers get the benefit of a caddy either. Why should the best players in the world need assistants? And why can't they carry their own goddamn bags for that matter?
  17. I'm not the one who made the claim.
  18. Haha Porky's. "I thought a bond developed between us!" "No. Not really. You're scum. You did it for RATINGS. You don't give a sh-- about us or anybody else except yourself. And that's why nobody gives a sh-- about YOU. That's why "helicopters" were not "deployed". "
  19. Eliza Dushku can't act.
  20. So I guess that means you can't.
  21. I'm interested if you can name one example of liberals using DL Hughley as a "spokesperson of their ideology"
  22. No, I think the Bills are holding out for Justin Peelle.
  23. I've never liked the concept of using a GPS. Part of the game is visually sizing up the distance to the green and the general layout of a hole. It's just part of the skill, and benefits experienced players. Sure, you have the 100,150, and 200 yard markers as benchmarks, but those can only tell you so much. Call me a stodgy purist if you must, but something about using a GPS seems...impure. And as for the 4 putt...well, we've all been there before.
