Wasn't too long ago that Lee Evans was the one and only draftable player on the Bills roster, and he was never exactly what you'd call a solid option at WR 2. Now Fitzpatrick, Freddie and Stevie are 2nd tier fantasy starters while Nelson and Chandler are solid late round picks or FA acquisitions.

I like it. Opposing DTs would be unable to resist the urge to rush offsides and try to steal Fitz' lunch money.

That is a tough one. Ultimately though, I'd take the 4-1 record. Wins are such a valuable commodity in a 16-game schedule and game #5 is against a quality opponent in the Iggles anyway.

I don't know about this. Just sensing the atmosphere around the NFL, it actually seems like people want to believe in the Bills and a victory on Sunday will hugely validate that.

The first time I saw Fitz play was for Cincy against the vaunted Steelers D. To put it nicely, he looked awful. Just goes to show things can change though.

Freddie's contract is certainly the most interesting of the 3. To me, Fitz and Stevie can be slotted into 7 mil/year and 9 mil/year contracts respectively. Freddie has similar value to the team as the situation currently stands and he's running like a 25 year old in his prime...but damn, do RBs hit "the wall" quickly.

I noticed the same. Then again, poor line play can blow up even the quickest of passing plays, so at the very least pass protection hasn't been a liability. On top of this, the line has been a collective monster in the running game.

Sort of tangential...but I sure wish there was an option to sign a release for euthanasia in the case of late-stage Alzheimer's and other dementia related diseases. I'd never want to put myself and family members through it and live my final years as a shadow of myself.

Two and a Half Men is possibly the worst show on television.

Like any other game, I'll be assessing how they look and not just the W/L. Patriots are an incredibly tough team, so if we compete hard and get beaten there's no shame in that. If we look like crap and get blown out I'll be disappointed...simple as that. Good teams get beaten at home from time to time but they rarely get blown out of the water on their turf. Bills did a nice job turning things around and avoiding that fate on Sunday against the Raiders.

I don't understand people who cite 2008 as a reason to not be intrigued right now. Completely different team back then. Different coach, different QB, different pretty much everything. How many starters out of 22 are remaining from that team? By my count, it's just Kelsay and maybe McKelvin and KW...can't remember if those last 2 were starters yet.
