I would add Rapp to this. He brings physicality that the Bills need.

Once your steak has finished cooking throw the bag in an ice bath for a few minutes before searing. Going straight from the bath to the cast iron doesn't give you much of a window to get that perfect steakhouse crust without going past your desired temp. A couple of minutes in an ice bath usually gives me 4 minutes to get a perfect crust. I go 1 minute per side then flip every 30 seconds.
Thank you for this because I ended up with medium vs medium rare finish. I thought the cut was thick enough to avoid this outcome. Your technique will be more likely to achieve the intended result. I tried to get there by dropping the sous vide temp knowing internal temp would rise with finishing.

We’ll be over but we don’t need any sort of romantic fire.

I admit I was wrong. I thought Baltimore would roll the Chiefs. I came clean in this thread because I just had to get it out.
You must pay your penance. Begin the self whipping now.

Good for him but it is surprising.

Outside of injuries this year it is hard to understand just how badly the D falls off in the playoffs. Some of the talking head shows postulate that the length of the season hits “aged” players harder. The Bills D is not a youth movement. Who knows maybe there is something to this thought.

I’ve been reading on here for years that pot is the solution to all our problems and causes no problems. There is one guy with 108 reasons to disagree, but I guess the judge was like totally baked.
Can’t wait to read how pot has nothing to do with this.
She got off very lightly. Hard to believe the sentencing was this lenient.

gonna try the sous vide method.. My wife did ribeye in it and it was fantastic!
On 6/22/2023 at 8:16 AM, TheCockSportif said:Yes, I agree about the ribeye. Last time I did taco salad, I sous vide a ribeye (spices were in the vac seal bag with the meat), then pan seared (hard) for 1 min per side. Absolutely perfect, and dead simple to do.
Have a 1 lb ribeye from local butcher in the sous vide right now. Will finish by searing and butter basting in a hot cast iron pan (looking for crust finish) rest for 5-10 minutes. Potatoes rubbed in olive oil are baking. Then adding a side salad. If we went out somewhere this would be $100+ easily for the two of us. Significantly less money to do it at home.

The really hard thing is that Te AFC may have its best era of QB’s. The Bills have to compliment JA with a D and a ST’s group if they hope to get to the promised land. The remainder of the AFC is too good for JA to do it alone.

McDermott is a CB and S whisperer. I am not concerned there.
Assuming Babich returns the middle of the D is set for LB’s.
It’s the d line that requires some hope. The Bills will have to look to the draft and maybe one bargain but good FA (Floyd was this).

How much of the issue is scheme. I agree with some of the earlier posts that suggest age may be a factor for Diggs. However, they are paying him like a #1.
I think the Bills lack a big body possession receiver to complement Diggs.

From a situational football standpoint it was the wrong call. Too much time on the clock and a harder throw to complete (based on yards and conditions). Love JA to death but he can get too confident sometimes. This is one of them.
keep in mind the d was shown to be extremely vulnerable so Mahomes had enough time left to score.
with all of that said it a point of conjecture. It does not
matter now.

Knocks on him are that he is easy to jam and lacks frame. Bills need someone who can get contested balls with a bigger body.

For those so high on RD 1 WR:
Keep this in mind - 19 of the 77 wide receivers taken in the first round this century have or had fewer than 100 career receptions in the NFL.
They tend to be fools gold.

If you watch the sequence on the second play broken down it was no wonder Diggs was not getting open. None of us know where he was supposed to be and what route he was running but the Bills had a terrible route design. It’s almost as if the Bills get in their own way.
If Brady does become OC these issues have to be cleaned up.

Here is my plan:
Keep Diggs - I think he was battling injury. He is still a viable force and a mentor for a draftee
Draft one in Rd 1
Shakir as #3
Round off with a second tier FA
Look at progress of Shorter and Shavers
Another lower (Rd 5+ pick)
We cannot just depend on the draft. We need at least one FA, maybe 2 to round off the roster
I am beginning to believe that Diggs may be a one trick pony who is a bit played out. Various corners have been highly effective in shutting him down. There remains a question as to whether scheme is an issue in his decline. Whatever the reason, his drop in production has been alarming and problematic.

This is good because it is likely to hurt both teams.

Sorry, guys. It was my fault. Two major errors.
first, I decided to wear my Bruce Smith jersey during the game. The logic was sound, as I was trying to channel the spirit of the 1993 Bills team that beat KC at home during the AFCCG. The problem is that I had not tested out wearing it, and it obviously resulted in the classic reverse jinx.
Second, my one son and I decided not to watch any PAT or FG attempts during the game. We left the room, as my other son reported the result after the fact. Bass must have obviously felt that lack of faith, which caused him to miss his FG.
I am very sorry. I will try better.
you make us sick. 🤢 we will continue to crucify you here for years to come. At least until you switch to another fan forum and you will suddenly become the best poster here ever.

Hard to say what this offseason will bring. The Bills will need to retool their roster as an outcome of cap and normal management. They have a very good core including JA so they will be competitive.
