  1. Here's why the rule doens't make sense.

If you run into the end zone with the ball, and are not tackled, therefore never hit the ground it is a touchdown. In fact it's a touchdown the moment the ball breaks the plane.

So if you have the ball at a point that it has crossed the plane regardless of if you have completed the process of hitting the ground the touchdown should have already been ruled at the point tha the ball crossed the plane in Dez's posession or the moment Cal Johnson had two feet down.

Having posession of the ball in the endzone should be a touchdown regardless of what happens next or else they need to say that anyone that scores a touchdown still needs to be tackled!

If you catch the ball in the air and then come down and the ball hits the ground like it did yesterday then it would not be a TD.

  2. Jimmy Johnson coached in the league for less than 10 years. Sure he got two rings and you can credit him with the Herschel Walker trade that helped build that Dallas team I guess, but even with that are his accomplishments really deserving of the Hall of Fame? Didn't Barry Switzer prove pretty much anyone could win with that team?

  3. Then he shouldn't be playing in the NFL. Considering a lot of it is about desire, I think he should be able to do better than he has been. Sticking with Collins doesn't take special athletic ability, just mind set.

Not saying it wouldn't be nice if he could, but he hadn't shown anything up until that play that would make any one think he could block. So with that being the case why put him in that position at all?

  4. they hoped/expected to make the playoffs with no QB. I never expected it. What did you think they would say - our goal is not be 6-10?

Wasn't that the justification for spending next year's 1st on a WR when there wasn't a QB on the roster? All they needed was Watkins and they would be a playoff team so it would be a late pick. Now they've squandered a great defense and the pick will be somewhere in the middle of the 1st round. Could be worse, but shouldn't someone be held accountable?

  5. Wow. That is channeling ICE's shitfits of the Greg Williams days.

Frankly, there was progress this season. That is about all we could have asked for. The reality is that the Bills are two guards, stability at QB, and a good offensive coordinator away from being a solid playoff team. The fact is that we were relevant in week 16 for the first since Mularkey was coach. Be patient as we are in year 2 of rebuild that actually is progressing.

The Bills, in their own words, were supposed to be a playoff team this year. Now all of a sudden "progress" (a likely two game improvement and a worse conference record) is all we could ask for? That's some epic goal post moving.

  6. first winning season in 10 years, and still the belly aching, bottom line, Orton may not have won the game, but he sure didn't lose, so pretty or ugly a win is a win, as for Kelly not wanting to come here, that is right on the mark, and the Hall of Fame QB had his share of

criticism all the time he was in a Bill's uniform, QB controversy, Reich or Kelly was a non stop issue, even in the Super Bowl Years

one thing that is 100% spot on, Some Bills fans would still B word, even if they were being Hung with A NEW ROPE.....

It's not a winning season yet.
