This is such a strech. No matter how much we hate them, NE is the most successful franchise in the last 15 years and I believe the most impressive in NFL history. Win or lose today, what they did in the cap era is absolutely mind boggling. Having said that, a 5th loss in the SB would make me feel much better ! If they win, it only adds to their resume. Brady best ever, BB best ever blah, blah, blah.
Spygate happened in 2006. Those SB were legit despite what we would like to think.
I'm not going to argue about whether their wins are astericked because I don't care, but one of the main points in the Spygate scandal was that they had videotaped the Rams' practice before the 2002 Super Bowl. If they did it for one game why wouldn't they do it for the other two?

Thirty-one year old guard who hasn't played a game or even really been a part of a team since 2013. Let's hope nobody gets to him first!
-
Yeah, but it's a trade-off. A more inflated ball will travel straighter, and farther.
The reason they haven't made a big deal out of it, is because it isn't a big deal.
If it's not a big deal why is it against the rules?

John Fox doesn't have a DC yet does he? Neither does Qunn.
-
He ran someone over with his car, lied about it, and was one more stupid decision away from missing a whole season. If he'd stayed it's not like it would have significantly changed the Bills' fortunes and he probably would have signed with a different team anyway.
-
If I remember right too if the Bills had won the Sunday night game they would have had a bye week in the playoffs, so tickets weren't even available until Monday for that game and then had to be sold out by Thursday at noon or whatever the blackout rule is.
-
He has one ring as a defensive line coach.

Here's why the rule doens't make sense.
If you run into the end zone with the ball, and are not tackled, therefore never hit the ground it is a touchdown. In fact it's a touchdown the moment the ball breaks the plane.
So if you have the ball at a point that it has crossed the plane regardless of if you have completed the process of hitting the ground the touchdown should have already been ruled at the point tha the ball crossed the plane in Dez's posession or the moment Cal Johnson had two feet down.
Having posession of the ball in the endzone should be a touchdown regardless of what happens next or else they need to say that anyone that scores a touchdown still needs to be tackled!
If you catch the ball in the air and then come down and the ball hits the ground like it did yesterday then it would not be a TD.
-
So the ground cant cause a fumble, but it can cause an incompletion?
Yes always.
-
Yeah, Fox is an awful coach who gets the "genius" label from some in the national media because he has a great QB.
-
Jimmy Johnson coached in the league for less than 10 years. Sure he got two rings and you can credit him with the Herschel Walker trade that helped build that Dallas team I guess, but even with that are his accomplishments really deserving of the Hall of Fame? Didn't Barry Switzer prove pretty much anyone could win with that team?

How have you not already!?
No I mean all of it again.

Now I have to watch Curb Your Enthusiasm.

So he wants the city to pay for his St. Louis stadium or he's going to build a new one in LA? Who is paying for that one?
-
well the season is over now i feel we have a right to know. i could be wrong.
You are.
-
The suspense is terrible. I hope it will last.
-
The network told the teams they need to stretch the game out a little longer.
-
They're winning by 8, it's not the time to go. If it was tied or they were behind I'd agree with you.
What? They're ONLY winning the game by 8 against mostly backups.
-
Jesus Christ they're not going for it?
-
Then he shouldn't be playing in the NFL. Considering a lot of it is about desire, I think he should be able to do better than he has been. Sticking with Collins doesn't take special athletic ability, just mind set.
Not saying it wouldn't be nice if he could, but he hadn't shown anything up until that play that would make any one think he could block. So with that being the case why put him in that position at all?
-
Kicking another FG - They DO have our playbook!
Not quite. The Bills would have punted on that 4th and 1.
-
Would have been useful if CJ stuck with his guy too.
Spiller can't pass block and anyone that expects him to be able to is either misguided or incompetent.
-
they hoped/expected to make the playoffs with no QB. I never expected it. What did you think they would say - our goal is not be 6-10?
Wasn't that the justification for spending next year's 1st on a WR when there wasn't a QB on the roster? All they needed was Watkins and they would be a playoff team so it would be a late pick. Now they've squandered a great defense and the pick will be somewhere in the middle of the 1st round. Could be worse, but shouldn't someone be held accountable?
