  1. No matter what we need to find a way to get three picks in the first two rounds. There's no other way around it. Preferably I'd like my order to be Austin in the first, Nassib at 41st overall, then a trade up for Arthur Brown.
  2. I think this move indicates that, despite what Joe B thinks, SS will not be the pick in round one. They'll have two youngster battling it out for the spot in Searcy and Williams. If they want to take a guy in the later rounds that's fine, but hopefully the competition will allow one of the two (or three) to emerge as a starter.
  3. God no. It's like a hamster in a running wheel. It'll never end.
  4. We need to convince Minnesota (who has 23,25), STL (who has 16,22) or San Fran (who has 31 and a very early second) that there is one particular player worth trading up for at 8. Ken Vaccaro? Dee Milliner? Two guys who, if still available, may help us out as trade bait.
  5. If we stay at 8: Tavon Austin (assuming Jordan is off the board). If we trade down: Alec Ogletree
  6. If the Bills are to stay at 8, then I think Austin is the only one worth taking for our needs.
  7. I'd be very happy with this. Aaron Rodgers himself said that when he gets a chance to start for his own team he'll tear it up. I guess that's easy for him to say, but who's to doubt him? He has a very live arm. So he was beat out by Russell Wilson, big whoop. We all know now how good Wilson is, so it can't be that much of a knock on Flynn. Let's give up two mid rounds picks, give him his shot, and use the rest of our draft picks to address other positions of need with safer picks.
  8. Why not? We're almost all in agreement that there's no QBs worth our time this year. Give up a few mid round picks for him, draft a Nassib like guy if you want for competition, and if you get nothing out of that then hope that we have a pickings next year.
  9. As long as neither our first or second round pick would be involved. I wouldnt expect them to be but just don't want them to even consider that.
  10. His arm is 15x stronger than fitz's. Maybe their accuracy on deeps ball may be similar, but I think you could have a better comparison.
  11. Chances we get either a Sunday night or Monday night game? I'd say they're pretty low.
  12. How about the fact that he had Brady throwing to him? Also, how can you say Lloyd is definitively better than Heyward Bey when Bey has had the likes of Campbell, Gradkowski and Palmer throwing to him? Please, as if being younger and more physically talented is null because of his lack of production when hes been on the Raiders.
  13. Also, if the stadium were anywhere near the falls themselves, imagine how awful tailgating weather would be in late season games. Orchard Park is obviously no south beach, but the winds right off the falls are devastating. Downtown Buffalo deserves this stadium. Can you imagine with all the hotel, retail and restaurants coming in downtown near the arena what kind of events the new stadium could attract other than the NFL? Big time NCAA games, bowl games, concerts, the super bowl??? Ok, maybe the super bowl is a reach but if we ever wanted to host it this would be the only way.
  14. Would anyone take a flyer on Brian Urlacher? I know a veteran who's long past his prime is not really what this team needs but...he's Brian Urlacher
  15. Landry is still available right? (Laron that is)
  16. You can't say this team doesn't have it's deep positions, it just so happens that the team is a bit top heavy. Guys like CJ, Stevie, Byrd, Wood, Williams (both) are among the best at their positions. We just need a QB, simply put.
  17. wait... we were interested in someone! That must mean Buddy IS awake!
  18. "what do we have to lose?" money, a roster spot, our dignity?
  19. So the Dolphins get a stud WR and two starting LBs in one day...isn't that exactly what we need!!!????
