Great catch!! Also, IMHO, I think the biggest beneficiary of all these moves will be Reed, who can now play at his natural position. I truly feel that if he can stay healthy, he may have a career year (nothing to write home about I know, but it will be good for the Offense nonetheless). He may actually be able to improve his YAC!!

This is the first post I've ever read of yours that I'm going to have to disagree with, and slightly at that. The idea or thought that Trent didn't throw to guys who were covered can be dismissed by what some would call the best catch of the year last year; Evans in the endzone against his head. A designed play in which, if you watch the replay, Trent had an open check down and chucked it up anyway to allow Lee to make a play. Lee was covered about as good as anyone could have covered him in that situation. there were plenty more, but I'm not going to sift through game tape and list them all. Just because he threw to Reed and Royal more often than others does NOT mean he was checking down every time he got them the ball (BTW, we all KNOW Lee was double teamed more times than not, so in that case, a check down is warranted) and I would even go as far as to suggest Reed was targeted for his ability to gain the first down marker, get open, and catch the ball, all while not being double teamed. The Cleveland game, however, was a case where Trent simply played poorly. I did not see that Trent anywhere else throughout the season.

That.....was.....harsh. I don't think people should be called "whiny" because of their disapproval of a coach with a losing record. The proof, statistically, is right there in black and white. He sounds like a great guy to call a friend, but most here only know him as coach, so we're basing our feelings towards him on how well of a coach he is, which to date, he has not performed very well. If you're ashamed at the fact we don't tolerate losing very well, then I wouldn't want to sit next to you at a game either....

How often did Lynch or Jackson actually line up outside last year?? Wait, let me answer that for you; NOT ENOUGH!!!! My point is, aside from our OC not utilizing our weapons to the best of their abilities, we may actually have guys that can mimmick the K-gun position by position. Turk needs to find ways to get our playmakers the ball as quickly as possible, so if a no huddle does that (and it does if executed properly) than I say why the hell not, we have nothing to lose. I also agree with some others who have stated the screen was and is sorely missed on this team. For the life of me I can't understand why we didn't involve Lynch AND Jackson more in our offense last year.

The interviews take place at OBD, the dinner was a gesture that most NFL teams do when they bring someone in from out of town. Ya, and their fan base sucks. Aside from living in the area, take a look at their attendance, not so great. I can basically guarantee not being able to see the Bills game when they're in Jax. because the games there do NOT sell out. They're gonna be the next team to move, mark my words. (I live in Volusia County, so I'm zoned for their games)

Peters isn't the only one not at VOLUNTARY workouts. There's no indication he won't be there for mandatory workouts. Dick has no say in what ultimately happens to Peters, so why would he indicate there's any reason to believe he won't be there?? Not that Dick has much of a professional career left, but calling Peters out right now would be the absolute worst thing a coach could do in this situation. I'd even bet he was told exactly what to say should this question come up.
