  1. that's fine, but any line below 3 points isn't a lock in anyone's eyes.
  2. lines aren't about who they think is going to win - lines are about evening out the money.
  3. turns on a dime. many people who have driven it said there were surprised at the tight turns.
  4. Well, it is certainly less than other cars, but I haven't been bothered by it at all. Then again, I haven't tried to parallel park it either. It wouldn't hold me back.
  5. fo' shizzle my brizzle! I also get a semi-automatic on the house....
  6. my neighbor was head of mid-atlantic sales. their offices are a mile from the house. they have all their cars parked in a row and if you know the right people - you just check 'em out if you want to test drive them.
  7. uhhhhg! Those are differentials - not ratios. Serious pet peeve of mine.
  8. I am test driviing a 300 for a week and all i can say is that I'm really impressed. This V8 has some serious balls. 0-80 mph in a blink of an eye and when you are going it 80 - the ride is so smooth you feel like you are going 30. The interior is very tasteful - fit and finish are excellent. I've had 10 people test drive it so far and everyone has liked it. The car is solid. Feels like you are driving a tank. A very FAST tank. It would be nice if the quality turns out to be good because Chrysler has a winner here. My friend said it was by far the best car they have ever built quality wise since he has been w/ the company.
  9. that was a good recap as it highlighted the struggles we had on offense all year and why Johnson's performance was so impressive in contrast to the rest of the season.
  10. perhaps, in his mind, he either knew they didn't go all out, or that he just wants to avoid an ass-kicking - which will happen if they dont play to win.
  11. The benefits of the Rob Johnson era spring eternal....
  12. Lose???? An ass-whipping in their own house.... It was delovely...
  13. it's really not that big of deal - it's been a long time since there has been light-hearted fun around here. Regardless, that one post wasn't there when I started this thread.
  14. is about football - except this one. Geez, the last time that happened was, well, never.
  15. no, no, no... I'm thinking you get 1 point for a win in week 1, 2 in week 2, etc.... that may be extreme, but maybe it is 1, 1.1, 1.2, etc... That way, wins at the end count more than the beginning. I would rather see an 0-8 team become 8-8 and make the playoffs than a 8-0 team that goes 8-8. No BCS stuff, just a simple weighting that meakes each game worth more than the last.
  16. some superhero... locked in his own phone booth! hey Glenn....
  17. If you want the best matchup at the end of the year, maybe games should be weighted with more weight given to the latter games. That keeps hot teams gone cold from backing into the playoffs and it allows the hot teams who are playing their best ball to make the playoffs.
  18. KTD is right - Brees hasn't comeback from anything either. He played poorly and is now playing better. The only adversity he overcame was his own mediocrity. Bettis was on the bench - too old - too slow. Time had passed him by as well as the team. He has now carried his offense to the playoffs and and an incredible 14-1 record.
  19. no sense in having fun - you are just going to die someday you know.
