This season they have a combined total of 18 catches and 2 Td's. That's roughly $250,000.00 per reception and $2 million per touchdown. Great work, if you can get it. Gugny Posted October 9, 2009 Share Posted October 9, 2009 Lots of HOF NFL coaches were once high school coaches. Not that AVP will be a great head coach some day, but you never know - just sayin'. I agree with you, but rarely do they move up the ranks that quickly and end up successful. I don't fault AVP. He, like many of the players, is a victim of the system in Buffalo. I like AVP, and would be thrilled if he ever became a top notch coordinator or coach. I guess my point is that he hasn't proven he's capable or worthy of calling plays in the NFL - which is part of the reason Buffalo consistently plays at a less-than-NFL level. To get back on topic .. Lee Evans, regardless of what plays are called, should be good enough to get some separation with one-on-one coverage. That's not on anyone but him. I don't think he's overrated.
