2. Uh huh........ALL of the radio guys are wrong I guess. After all, you saw with your own two "superhomer" eyes. Same goes for the RWS Replay crew. As for my my drunk buddies......lmao......yeah ok, whatever you say! Always resort to garbage when you have no point to make. By the way.....all of the fans in Section 137, Rows 35-37 must have seen it wrong too, cuz we all collectively breathed a sigh of relief that Herm had no more challenges. Ever been to a game by they way?

Let me get this straight, you know for sure that the Bills would have lost if that was ruled a incompletion?

RIGHT.

Guys like you really bug the stevestojan out of me. The Bills lost really close games to the Jags 5-3 , Patriots 7-1 and Jets 6-2 lose a stinker to the Ravens 5-3, and you proclaimed that "they suck", now they win three of there last four clobbering the Cards and beating the Jets soundly, and you can't give them any credit.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, "superhomer 2" to the rescue. I was waiting for you to come out of the woodworks. If you and Simon aren't identical twins or PR guys for BuffaloBills.com then I'd be shocked.

And, I never said we sucked. All I've said is that we are winning games that we SHOULD win. And everyone has this team turning the corner because of these last three teams that we've beaten. LMAO, gimmie a break. I would venture to guess, we would have AT LEAST beaten Arizona and Miami, with Henry. Probably the Jets too.

Here's a newsflash......We'll beat Cleveland, SF, and Miami again too. That only leaves a very winnable game at home against the Rams, maybe a win on the road at Cincy, to get to 8 wins. Here's a shocker.....I think we'll beat PITT at home. We match up well with them at that point. They won't be able to run on us, and Big Ben will have to pass into hopefully very windy conditions. That spells a B-Lo win.

However, to sit here and all of you homers say we have arrived, because of the last three of four games AGAINST crap is ludicrous.

We blew our season, because we stevestojan away the season by losing games to all of the good teams that have a clue at the beginning. Now, we play our crappy part of the schedule and we are making a run? Hardly.

I've never said they have "arrived".

I do believe they are playing like they are capable of playing.

According to some (ICE) they are not capable of beating the school for the blind.

Except for two bad calls they should have won the Raiders game.

One batted down ball and they beat the Jags.

Coy Wire doesn't go off-sides and Lindell is kicking to tie the game agains the Pats, instead of trying for the TD on 4th down.

That is at least 2 more wins.

Would we be having this conversaion if they were 5-3 ????

No, we wouldn't. But christ.....we aren't 5-3. And we didn't knock balls down. And see, with that Raiders crap? The Jets can say the same thing this weekend then. And, the Pats made plays and we didn't. Period.

You see, as a coach myself......If this was my team.......as well as my high school team........I would look at the Raider game much differently.......

I would explain......on the road.....you won't get great calls usually. Period. So, when you are playing a BAD team, you need to beat them soundly. And we didn't. Meaning, we are not a good team. You see, others have easily handled the Raiders, and took the refs out of the game and made them a non-factor. We didn't and couldn't. That's the difference between me and other people. Im a no-excuses kind of person. I'd rather have the mentality of.......We have more talent than the Raiders, so we need to go in there and beat the hell out of them and punch them in the mouth early. We didn't accomplish that.

Same with the Jags.

We are incapable of doing that. We are not a good team yet. And there has been no indicator of us being able to play good on the road yet. Yet, everyone here has us turning the corner. It's just flat out stupid.

Let's see what happens this weekend against a real opponent and then let's see how far we've come. As for the last 4 weeks, we've played two god awful teams at home, we've stunk (on the road), and we beat a mediocre Jets team at home.

If we win this week, or play well, I'm not beyond coming in here and saying, YEAH BABY, we are making progress. But as for right now.......no way can anyone really say that yet.

I hope we win on Sunday. I would love a crack at SL to go to .500!!!

It's amazing that the homer nation sees it your way......but yet, upon the ride home from RWS on SUnday, and NOT ONE Bills announcer on any post game show could say that Evans got his feet down.

NOT ONE!

112384

My recollection is that the TV announcers looked at that play several times, and came to the conclusion that Evans bounced the toe of his left foot in bounds, making it a legal catch. Of course, Edwards couldn't challenge because he was out of time outs. I don't know if the radio guys have access to the same replays the TV guys have, but I sure couldn't see any rationale for overturning the play, had the Jets been able to challenge.

OK, so let me ask you this.......

The defense again gave up a big play late in the game for a TD.  And if the correct call was made on the  Lee Evans catch (something all of you guys whine about every week), the Jets have the ball with plenty of time to score the winning TD late in the game.  Seems like the refs MAYBE bailed us out of a situation that we all know we have screwed up more than one time this year.

WE HAVE BEATEN BAD TEAMS AT HOME.  Period.

We'll see if there is progress or not this week.  We don't even have to win the game, but just look competitive.

112345

You are full of BS The refs did nothing for us. If You saw the game Evans made the catch. If you have TIVO you could replay it - It clearly shows both feet inbounds. A WIN IS A WIN PERIOD.

Obviously we have no chance at the playoffs, and no we're not yet a "good" team. Anybody who suggests otherwise is indeed a homer.

I have a "wait and see" attitude for this week's game. If it's not a game with 5 minutes left w/ all of the injuries on their side, then we're going to have to think twice about how much progress we've really made, but so far the signs are there. The Cardinals although not a good team had not been blown out by anyone.

I think it's just good to see some progress, especially under a rookie HC. We're not getting progressively worse as the season goes on like we have the last two years. Those first two losses were horrible and inexcusable, but don't you think we would beat Oakland & Jax at home if we played them right now?

re the Evans catch - you're dillusional he clearly got both feet down. The replay itself serves better evidence than what John Murphy thinks. If you want to talk about partisan fans, I haven't heard/seen one of them complain online, on the NY radio stations, or in my personal life (I have access to all three). Either Jets fans are the classiest people on the planet or it was in fact a catch - you decide which is more likely.

How many times have the Bills been screwed by bad call? ALWAYS! Even though there are bad calls that lead to a Bills loss, it's still a loss. Why isn't the same if we get one that goes our way? Bad call? Still a win.

BTW, his foot was in. Just because you say it wasn't, doens't mean it wasn't.

We all must be idiots!  Including the RWS Video replay crew who NEVER show replays when the refs make a bad call.

Amazing enough.....NO REPLAY of the "non" catch, UNTIL the next play was run.  Yeah, I'm the only one who saw it that way.

On a quick count, I think I have been to 7 different stadiums since replay started, and every one I have been to does the same thing. It's called home field advantage...get over it.

Everything is just peachy Simon.

Finally...WHO THE HELL CARES!!!! Hey, if you don't agree, come on here and say why. You did that, but then you had to go and start getting personal with people who have a different view. Why the hell do you care if somone else is happy with the way this team is doing? WHY?????????

It's called optimism. Don't have it? Fine. I do, and prefer to be excited about my team.

And that's still not good.  Give me a win that we aren't supposed to get, and I'll get excited and happy.

We've friggin beaten Miami, the worst team in the league.  Arizona, which is still a bottom feeder.  And the NY Jets, who are a product BIG TIME of their schedule.  The Jets probably won't even make the playoffs, and have beaten one team with a winning record.

This board is sickening to watch.  The Bills win a game or two, and the "I told you so crowd" comes out firing.  Then we lose a game or two and the other "I told you so crowd" comes back with some fire.

Bottom line is this.......

We haven't beaten anyone.  We beat the Jets at home.  Big friggin deal.  The combined record of the Jets opponents whom they defeated are 14-35.  We'd be 6-2 also if we played those teams.

Win a BIG game.  Hell, win or even be competitive on the road, then we'll talk.  But for now, we haven't done jack stevestojan.  Willis did this, and Willis did that....ummm, yeah, look who the hell we played.  He should have.  And, at home, nonetheless.

This week, we'll see if we have improved.  Can we even resemble a football team on the road?  Who knows.  Am I impressed with what we have done the last 4 weeks?  Not really.

Hell, just three weeks ago, we looked like a high school football team in Baltimore.  Then we played Arizona.  Big Deal.

Miami, Arizona, and the Jets folks.  Do something against someone with a clue, then spout off.  Until then, I'm skeptical.

Go Bills, PLEASE play well on national TV this Sunday.  Please!

As I alluded to before, there's ebbs and tides with every team. Bills have a little roll going, and face it, they play NFL caliber players every week. It's mid season, and the Bills might be hot for a game or three. Lots of factors. I think there is no reason the Bills CAN'T beat the Pats in Foxboro. Does that mean they will? No.

We have a good matchup this week. I hope no one hurts Willis. He's the key to the game. They have a totally decimated secondary. Everyone is going to need help against Moulds and Evans. Unless the Bills screw up, the safeties will be be screwed trying to cover two while willis runs for 5 a clip. And, BTW, never forget, the coaching staff gets paid to execute our opinions.

Believe it or not, when you take everything into account for this one game, the Bills are the better team.

It's not who they beat, it's how they looked. That is something that you and Ice are obvioulsy missing.

There has been constant improvement from one week to the next (baring the Baltimore game). The team is coming together and if you cannot see it, you are trying too hard to be negative.

The biggest hurdle left for this team is to show it can win on the road. If they can get that monkey off their back, this team will be in great shape for 2005.

ROFLMAO, Baltimore being the only decent team in the 4 game spread. IMO, the Jets MIGHT finish 8-8. - Bump

The reason there is palpable optimisim here is that the Bills have become the physical dominating team we've all been waitiing for. They have an "attitude" and they are backing it up with impressive performances. Be skeptical, but this team is going to Foxborough thinking they will win the game. This was definitely not the case last season. With McGahee and our defense the Bills have more than a fighting chance to beat them this time around.

ROFLMAO - For the record, this "attitude" post gave me the giggles all last week! - Bump

McGahee, McGahee, and Willis McGahee. C'mon, the attitude was on the bench you knucklehead.

Jeeez, I'm glad the players don't have your defeatist attitude. They'd be better off not even boarding the freakin plane.

Sorry I interupted your little ol' pitty party. Carry on...

LMAO - Ummmm, yeah, not boarding the plane may have confused the NE offense a little more than we actually did by showing up! Bump

Sorry CVAB, you can't talk outside of both sides of your ass.  Even IF the refs made the wrong call (and they didn't, as NFL PrimeTime proved later on that evening), remember you said it "all evens out."  Sorry, move on.

115674

LMAO - Hey, you didn't really say anything on the homer side MBD, but you are the resident whiner about the refs every week. Did they screw us again this week, or did we finally actually lose a game?

LMAO - one more bump..............you see, last week, it was like I was in a homer shark tank, and was attacked by all of the super homers who said we were gonna "ATTITUDE" out a win tonight.

ROFLMAO!
