They are approximate numbers as of 1/23/09. For example: Atlanta saved $4.75 million from Todd Weiner's retirement, but that amount is not reflected in their total. If I remember correctly, the Cards have a LOT of their own players to re-sign, hence the amount of cap space. Dansby is an $8 million/year LB. Bertrand Berry is a FA. With Edge set to leave, they'll need to bring in an RB. Not to mention re-signing Warner.
