BUT I THOUGHT TRENT MADE THE DEFENSE, TEAM, AND EVERYTHING ELSE BETTER BECAUSE OF HIS LONG, TIME CONSUMING DRIVES?!?!? I'M SO CONFUSED NOW. Kelsay and Denney made a play or 2 against the 49ers. Other than that, they have been all but non existant, and I am talking about the pass and the run. Flat out horrible. Other than Stroud, the Bills have marginable at best tackles. Teams frequently convert on 3rd and long. They also pick up big yards on first down. Whitner has to play very deep because there is no pass rush. Elison tries, but he weighs 100 pounds. This defense is small, weak and it sucks. Most playoff defenses allow teams to convert 3rd downs at will, and most playoff defenses allow multiple 8-9 minutes drives that eat up the entire 4th quarter and put the game out of reach.
