VOR Posted October 26, 2008 Share Posted October 26, 2008 Yes. It uses the audio/video feed from the cable/satellite box. It's the same connection used for your tv. It acts as if you are watching that TV, the user on the other end is able to change channels, watch DVR'd stuff as if they were in that room. It is really cool. It will save me time and money if I get the information before getting it (if I do). There are a couple of small cables with LED's on the end that are attached to the slingbox. You tape them to the cable box pointing at the RF port on the front of it and it acts just like the cable box remote control. The use on the other end uses the slingbox interface to control that cable box. Try http://support.slingmedia.com/go/setup for more help. Believe me, it is incredibly easy to setup and use.
