Obama seriously considering naming Ayers Secretary of Education

Recommended Posts

Just kidding. I figured I might prompt a few heads might explode around here. And Sean Hannity might just report it on "Hannity's Anti-America" show this weekend. It must suck for him to be so consistently wrong for eight years in a row and now he's primed to be consistently wrong for another eight years in a row. How does someone like that keep a job?

Are you kidding. If Obama wins, right wing talk radio/tv hosts will have won the lottery. BillO the clown just got a 4-year, $40 million contract. Limbaugh wants to buy an NFL team. And countless others are seeing dollar signs flash before their eyes. Talk (no pun) about an economic stimulus program...

So why are they not out of business or lost massive market share after 8 years of Bush? You people are unbelievably gullible.

Ummmm... because 35% of the adults in America (which is what, 60-70 million?) are conservative and about half of them like to piss and moan and scream along with Sean and Rush and Hugh and Savage and 85 other blowhards?

Less than half - but they are avid radio listeners.

Surveys have consistently shown over time, and regardless of the administration, race, income, etc, Republicans tend to be happier than Democrats.

Well, when a large majority of your party are rich white guys, they tend to be a lot happier than poor minorities. I'll give you that.

My research has shown that democrats tend to be exposed to real life drugs, violence, and poverty (whether by choice or not), and republicans tend to be sheltered in their small towns and rich suburban areas with no exposure to troubles or hard times.

My "conner research institute" is highly accredited and has earned three nobel prizes, a grammy, and 1/2 of an oscar.

Sure, if you're talking Reagan Republicans (or even Rockefeller Republicans, if any are left).

But Republican and Conservative are not necessarily fish from the same school...hence McCain's problem. The angry white blue collar talk radio/FoxNews demographic may align itself with the Republican party as a marriage of convenience, but it's not necessarity a cozy relationship.

The Hannity/Rush Republicons are nothing more than party voices. They might dissent on issues that are not vital to their party, but overall they are nothing more than talking points. If they were serious about being conservative guys like Buchanan and Paul would have more footing with their shows. Paul is a Taft Republican, and Buchanan is paleo-conservative.
