You don't see any difference in the ability to stop an ICBM versus the number of people that can be killed highjacking an airplane? I think that their are better ways to prevent the unlikely ICBM attack than spending hundreds of billions of dollars on a weapon system that may or may not work if a launch ever took place. Matter of fact, 63 years ago today Hirohito announced to his subjects in a prerecorded radio address that Japan had accepted terms of surrender for ending WWII.
