BF_in_Indiana
You were all wondering why I haven't been talking smack???? I wasn't around. Now that I am though, I will be happy to oblige. The Cardinals will win tonight and then they will win again come Wednesday night and celebrate their 16 N.L pennant. I always talk smack and a few losses in Houston WILL NOT change that for you Stankees fans. I think the Cardinals were cursed over the weekend perhaps though, I had to sleep with a Yankees blanket.........it felt like I had HIV or something. gantrules
bully looks weak right now BF for the Cards. Wheeler has been absoultely dealing for the Stros. Tonight is critical otherwise you've got to take two from Clemens and Oswalt. Good Luck.

ExiledInIllinois
Why all the hate Bro? "I cannot hate the Yankees because, unlike two Chicago clubs I know, they reinvest their profits into their product." ~Jay Mariotti, Chicago Sun-Times I think the same should go for every fan of the MLB! BF_in_Indiana
I don't hate anyone, I was just replying to the Yankee fans that thought I wouldn't stick up for the Cards because they lost two games.

One win in Houston was all the Redbirds needed to effectively seal the deal. Now, it's backs-to-the wall time.
MadBuffaloDisease
In which position would you rather be: 3-2 (after being 3-0, from which no team has ever comeback) going back home for 2 games, or 2-3 going back home for 2 games?
BF_in_Indiana
It doesn't matter, unless they win IN ST. LOUIS they lose the series, it doesn't matter how many games. I do not like the 2-3-2 format though, I think it's horrible.

Still better to be up than down I suppose. If the Sox though come all the way back to force a Game 7, hysteria will set in the Big Apple.

Just imagine if something went terribly wrong in game one? The advantage is totally the non-home field team. All they have to do is break the 1-1 the first two game. BF_in_Indiana
It really doesn't matter what order the wins come. St. Louis was down 3-2 heading back to St. Louis for games 6 and 7 of the 1982 World Series and we won it. I think we force a 7th game and then anything can happen.
