He signed a seven year deal worth $40.12 Million. The last two years are option years, without those the deal is for five years and is worth $26.42 Million. It's a heavily backloaded deal but does include a $7.5 Million signing bonus and another $7.5 Million in guaranteed money, $6 Million next year and $1.5 Million in 2009. One that shows that he was not asking for anything out of line (especially when you compare it to what we are paying Dockery). Don't you think there is a strong possibility that he was not going to re-sign with the Bills under any circumstances?
