jad1 Posted October 12, 2004 Share Posted October 12, 2004 Actually, you have to agree with Bledsoe on this one. Evans burned the Jets blitz for the go-ahead TD late in the 4th quarter. If the D manages to stop the Jets last drive, Henderson would be called on the carpet for that blitz. For the first time in over a year, thanks to Evans, the Bills are able to hurt teams when they blitz. This is something that bears watching over the rest of the season. If Evans can back teams off the blitz, the Oline will quickly improve. The Bills should do everything possible to use Evans early and often against the Dolphins. eSJayDee Posted October 12, 2004 Share Posted October 12, 2004 Actually, this time, particularly relative to other performances, it wasn't the blitzers that so much caused the trouble, but just the regular DEs.
