Like the man said, there are still 12 games left on the schedule. They're playing solid, but inconsistent, football, but they play to the final gun. Four losses in, and their effort and tenacity is still evident. The coaches' direction and the players' desire will soon equate to wins, whether you or I are there to cheer them or not. The Pats had a 1st and 35 after taking 3 consecutive penalties. So what do they do? Bomb it downfield for 45 yards and get the first down. The Bills later in the game had a 3rd and 26 after taking 3 consecutive penalties. They run a draw play for 2 yards. I know, I know they were different situations, but the Bills are just a team lacking in confidence, which translates into the mistake laden football we've been subject to... No sane person would put themselves into the middle of this brand of mayhem without a personal history of success and the confidence that they can succeed as a team. You're down on them? That's your right, but you shouldn't assume to understand the ingredients that make up great teams. Otherwise you're in the wrong profession.
