Roscoe Parrish $$

OK, I was looking at the bills daily page and they have a cap page of ten or so players under contract for 07. One of them is Parrish; garnishing 4.7 Mill.

There has to be something wrong with that number. ;)

OK, not to start a quibble but four year 2.7 Mill + 1.2 Mill SB; Does not compute to an alleged 4.?????Mill. figure going into 2007. That's all I am saying. Bills Daily has some extra $$ in Parrish's pocket that should not be there.

Roscoe and Willis both went to the U. Maybe Roscoe has a siter who is also one of Willis' baby mommas

He probably had some escalators from the original deal, like plays or catches or touchdowns that increased his total figure from the one he originally signed. Or BillsDaily simply had a misprint. 3.9 mil for 4 years as a start with some incentives seems about right for a 2nd round pick. It's not that much at all.

"The Bills signed Parrish to a four-year contract on July 29, 2005. The deal is worth $2.7 million and included a $1.32 million signing bonus, according to an ESPN.com report."

4 million over 4 years is a lot diffrent than 4 million a year.

His entire contract is worth 4.02 million, but that is a 4 year deal so hes basically making 1 mil a year.

and 1 mil a year sounds about right for a 2nd round pick.

No, his contract as it stands is 4-years and $2.7M. The signing bonus was already factored-in. So he's making about $700K a season. Escalators may bring it up, but not even close to that much.
